(that little nose scrunch gets me everytime.)

Yennie’s immediate response was to wrench her body back. But having sensed her shock, Jungkook grasped her neck more firmly, his other hand wrapped around her middle to pull her closer against his frame. The girl gasped impulsively at the sensation of his lips against her own, his body aligned with hers and lighting her with a fire that she seldom knew could exist. And when his lips slanted and cupped in the most gentle of embraces, there was nothing that would have prepared her for the series of fireworks that burst with pops of color behind her closed lids.

She melted right into him without meaning to and Jungkook took this to his advantage, tilting his head to gain more access to her now parted mouth. His lips didn’t hesitate to latch onto her own and le softly, hand finding purchase at her waist before it skimmed underneath her shirt and rested against her flesh. Her own hands sprung into a life of their own, tracing outlines across his chest before moving up and slipping through his raven-haired locks. She was more than surprised when a low, guttural moan erupted through his chest at the contact, her own stomach curling in a mixture of desire and satisfaction.

He kissed her with more and more intensity as the seconds slipped by, breaking down Yennie’s defenses in a way that felt foreign, yet sent a surge of adrenaline, impulsiveness soaring through her limbs as though possessed by this innate desire to keep going. There was a singular thought screaming at Yennie to ‘get the out of here!’, but she found that she couldn’t stop, her resolve falling away with each and every touch, every brush of his hands imprinting on her skin and with every touch of his mouth imprinting on hers.

When his tongue swiped at her bottom lip, she gasped softly before feeling the said young man’s tongue curl around her own. She shuddered, tingles shooting down her spine as their wet muscles danced with each other, hers hesitant and shy, and his more dominant, more experienced. She hadn’t realized that his hands were tracing abstract shapes along the small of her back until she felt his fingers leaving a trail of warmth up her spine, his movements causing heat to rush down south.

That broke her out of her pool of desire. She unlatched their lips, breathlessly pulling away in an attempt to bring back some of her sanity. But Jungkook groaned as he pushed himself up on his elbows, a hand pressing her back down on her back, “no,” he rasped out, “don’t stop, not yet.”

Yennie fought the urge to melt into his arms, but Jungkook was making it so, so damn difficult to focus. Her eyes swam, unfocused and distracted, when his mouth pressed a chaste kiss at her neck, making a soft whine erupt from her voice box, before starting a slow trail up her jaw in a series of nibbles.

“Jungkook,” her hands went to his shoulder and pushed at him weakly. The man though, kept on littering her neck with kisses,  the sensation of his mouth causing her breath to rattle, “Jungkook, what-- what are you--stop--”

Her words quickly died out into a moan when his mouth latched onto a particular sensitive spot in the crook of her neck, ling onto the patch of skin while one of his hands trailed even higher, now ghosting over the edge of her bra and sending a series of electrical impulses throughout her body.

It felt good. It felt so good that Yennie found it hard not to unravel right then and there.

“Jungkook, wait--” finally grabbing her sense of logic with two hands and tugging the man away, she tried not to linger upon the breathless rise and fall of Jungkook’s chest, of the way his lips were still tainted a bright red from their earlier kiss. Fire burned through Yennie, wanting nothing more than to dive back down and finish off where they left off. But the realization that she actually wanted him that way was enough for her to break out of her momentary lust-filled daze.

“Tell me you don’t want this,” came his murmur, so raw and so hoarse that it made her stomach tingle. He pressed another chaste kiss at the corner of , “tell me.”

“I--I don’t,” Yennie quickly replied and attempted to pull back when she felt the embarrassment slowly crawl up her face, but Jungkook’s grip tightened on her middle. He sat up so that she straddled him, her brown orbs widening ever so slightly at their provocative position and--

was that an actual that she was feeling down there?!

“You don’t know,” he murmured, dark orbs swirling with desire and mouth slightly parted in that devious, tempting way of his, “you don’t know what you do to me.”

Reality crashed through her.

She lurched away, fought her way out of his arms before pressing herself against the other side of the van with a heart that was hammering against her chest.

She felt like she’d just run a marathon. She felt out of control, her body still throbbing, wanting for more, from their earlier contact.

Yennie squeezed her eyes shut. Stop it, she thought to herself, stop it. Just stop!

“Yennie?” Jungkook’s soft alto broke through the silence that weighed heavily on their shoulders.

He made a move towards her, “Yennie, I--”

She raised a hand to cut him off, “don’t.”

He winced at the iciness of her tone, but right now, she needed some space and time to rearrange her thoughts and think. She needed to think.

“I--I don’t--” the words, no matter how much they replayed through her head, didn’t make any sense once they fell from . Yennie clamped her lips shut after multiple failed attempts, hands quickly scrambling for the door handle as she kept her eyes averted from Jungkook’s face. She knew, without looking, that he was probably feeling guilty, a little hurt by the way she was treating him after such an experience. She also knew that one glance in his direction would make her crumble and throw away the last of her resolve to figure things out before jumping to conclusions.

She heard Jungkook speak up once more when she was finally able to unlock the door, practically falling out of the vehicle in her haste to put as much distance between them as possible.

“Yennie, I’m sorry--”

“Not now,” she shook her head, taking one step back. Then another. She shook her head even more adamantly, “not now, Jungkook.”

And then she slipped away into the dark, mind still reeling and lips still throbbing with the taste of his kiss.

Jungkook squinted, eyes focused on the hoop up ahead, and tossed the ball at his target with aimed precision.

The ball flew onto the scoreboard, hit the edge of the basket and tumbled to the side.

Another miss. That was the tenth one in a row.

Jungkook let out a groan. He bent down, hands upon his knees as he forced the bubbling frustration down his stomach. It wouldn't do him any good, not when the next season's game was just around the corner.

Deep down, he knew exactly what was annoying him so much, and that went by the name of the one and only Yennie Kim.

A hand landed on his shoulder and pulled him out of his momentary daze. Jungkook turned to see concern etched across Jimin's sweaty face.

"Yennie?" The shorter man asked, to which Jungkook merely pressed his lips in a firm line and poignantly stayed quiet.

Jimin sighed, "you know, avoiding the issue isn't going to solve it."

"There's nothing wrong," Jungkook snapped, albeit he hadn't meant to. Not really, and couldn't help but feel guilty when hurt flashed across Jimin's eyes, before the latter pulled away.

Days had turned into weeks of no talking, no texts, no communication whatsoever between him and Yennie. It almost felt like she'd vanished the moment that he woke up the next day at camp, without cause nor explanation, which had left the group anxious with worry. Needless to say, she had sent a short text message to Namjoon and had left it at that, prompting Jungkook in a chain of self-doubt and irritation at her stubbornness to talk it out with him.

It was clear that they had both felt something. The spark had been there. He'd seen the way her body had reacted, how her own heart had raced against his, and the way her lips had sought his lips out without mere protest.

And if Jungkook were to be honest with himself, he might even be tempted to say that he fancied her a little.

Okay, so maybe not a little. Maybe she had been all he could think about for the last month. Maybe he dreamt of kissing her and holding her and how much fun they'd actually have if they were together.

Truthfully, he couldn't find any reason why not. It was just that Yennie was being completely difficult. So what if she liked him when she had stated she was a lesbian? People changed, uality changed and preferences didn't define who you were.

And Jungkook didn't care who she was. He just liked her because she was her and no one else.

When practice was over, he was instantly out of the locker room to avoid the guys' stares and was making his way across the gym hall when he spotted a familiar face waving at him from the sidelines.

"What's up?" He asked when he got within talking distance. Celine straightened up and flicked a caramel coloured strand behind her shoulder, silver hoops catching in the light from the beams overhead.

A few months ago, Jungkook would've been more than ecstatic at the thought that the curvy goddess with proportions sliced out by god was calling him over to chat. Right now though, he couldn't be bothered to even check her out.

"You're what's up," Celine said with a frown, "did something happen between you and Yennie?"

"No."

She shot him down with a knowing look.

"What do you want, Celine?" Jungkook asked with tiredness in his voice.

"I saw you two that night."

His jaw clenched, "I--"

"Don't lie to me, Jungkook. I know what I saw."

"Fine. So what?"

"I thought Yennie said she's lesbian."

"She is."

"Then, does that explain how she was so eager to kiss you back?"

Anger spiked through him. How was he to know about what Yennie wanted? He didn't have a ing clue and clearly she wasn't interested in pro
