[Mild swearing this chapter, nothing serious tho, like two cuss words, there's a second warning ahead :) ]

When Jungeun arrived at the Restaurant she could already see her friends sitting at a table near the window, a bunch of other girls next to them.

"Ah Jungeun, there you are!" 

Jungeun would recognize that voice anywhere, of course it belonged to Jiwoo.

She made her way over, knowing very well that all eyes were on her right now. She was probably the last one to arrive. Jungeun quickly sat down next to Jiwoo.

"Now then we're all complete!"

Before anyone could say anything else a waiter already stood by the table, ready to take orders.

Jungeun took that as a chance to look around. The Restaurant wasn't too fancy, just something casual but pretty comfy.

Then her eyes wandered over the girls at the table. The fact that her friends were around made her feel much more at ease.

There was Heejin, a pretty girl she met on the first day of college, she was quite the weeb but denied it. Then Hyejoo, a very.. interesting companion but nonetheless quite friendly.. most of the time. She suffered from Edgy-Teenage-Phase though. Haseul was there too of course, a typical mom friend, who'd quite literally befriend your parents. Yerim, a bright and optimistic girl, seriously there was almost no way to make her upset. Last but not least, Jiwoo, a giggly and bubbly gay mess.

Jungeun loved her a lot, they've been friends since highschool after all but sometimes she was too hyped for her own good.

Jungeun was abruptly ripped out of her thoughts when the food arrived. With the food, everyone started chatting a little, eventually everyone introducing themselves.

Now Jungeun had actual names and brief descriptions for the (mostly) unknown faces.

She had known Hyunjin and Sooyoung already, because Heejin and Hyunjin were actually a couple and Jiwoo obviously gushed about Sooyoung the whole day.

She learned that Hyejoo and Chaewon, a blonde, short girl were roommates and Haseul and Kahei, a chinese transfer student were roommates too. Yerim also proudly announced that her roommate was Yeojin, a small but quite loud girl.

The girls talked a lot, about all kinds of stuff and seemed to have an overall good time. Jungeun was mildly relieved that Jinsouls friends were apparently less bad than Jinsoul herself (aka Jungeun keeps lying to herself). 

Eventhough Jungeun insisted on disliking Jinsoul, her eyes betrayed her mercilessly and her gaze was fixed on the older girl and her oh so perfect face, with her beautiful, black hair cascading over her shoulders.

Jungeun pretended like she wasn't completely whipped.

She didn't realize how much time had passed when Jiwoo suddenly nudged her in the side. Before she could react her friend raised her voice. "Why don't we go to Jungeuns and Jinsouls room?" 

Had she gone crazy? First off, how was Jungeun supposed to fit twelve people into a small dorm room and secondly, who gave her the right to-

"Aww that's an awesome idea!!" Jungeun made a mental note to scold Yerim later. She looked at Jinsoul, clearly searching for help but got an evenly desperate look as response. "Guys, let's not do that." 

Apparently her opinion didn't count anymore, because ten people just made their way to the dorms, dragging Jungeun and Jinsoul with them. 

"You're gonna pay for not stopping them Jung Jinsoul."

"Last time I checked you didn't really make an effort either Kim Jungeun."

She felt pathetic because she couldn't argue with that.

[Mild swearing ahead]

Upon arriving at the door to their room, Jinsoul made a last effort to stop them. "Are y'all sure you want to go in? It's quite messy.." She got eyerolls as a response. 

"We're like, at your door already, so whatever it's too late now." 

Wow Sooyoung you're so helpful.

So Jinsoul opened the door and let them in.

It wasn't messy at all, mostly because Jungeun spend lots of time cleaning up.

"Ah yes, super messy," Hyejoo mumbled sarcastically, sitting down on the couch like she owned the place.

Now they were stuck with twelve people in the tiny livingroom of the dormroom.

They were just watching some movies and it was mostly quiet, occasionally Yerim, Yeojin or Jiwoo would laugh at something stupid but that was it.

Then Jungeun left to use the bathroom.

She didn't think it was possible to make such a mess in 5 minutes. It was almost like she was the factor that kept everyone sane, which she thought would be Haseul but apparently not.

"Jinsoul, what the is happening??"

"I don't know! Help me?!" 

"They are your friends!"

"But yours too!"

For some reason Jiwoo and Sooyoung were rolling around on the floor, laughing at something, while Hyunjin was clearly ready to throw hands at Kahei, only Heejin holding her back. Apparently Kahei had thrown away Hyunjins bread because she thought the girl didn't want it anymore.

Yerim and Yeojin were also play fighting in the corner, Yerim literally throwing Yeojin over her shoulder. Haseul was kind off in the middle of it all, trying to keep them together but failing miserably.

"Wait, where are Chaewon and Hyejoo?" 

Oh no.

Jungeun and Jinsoul could clearly smell something b u r n i n g in the kitchen.

As Jungeun threw the door to the kitchen open, a wave of heat hit them.

"What the Chaewon, who allowed you in the kitchen??" Jinsoul glared at Hyejoo who just helplessly flailed her arms around. 

"I DONT KNOW?? DO SOMETHING!" 

Well, easier said than done when the pan was literally on fire.

At least the screaming in the kitchen got the other girls to calm down and come look at the fiasco. 

Sooyoung was the first one to react, while the others just kept yelling at eachother in panic she threw a thick blanket on the pan and stomped on it, until smoke was the only thing left. Then she grabbed Chaewon by the shoulders, staring her right in the soul. "Don't step into a kitchen ever again." 

While the other girls hyped Sooyoung up for saving them and being a hero, Jungeun silently held a funeral for her favorite blanket.

Then Jinsoul took the chance and threw the girls out :D

"Sorry guys, I don't feel like having my room destroyed tonight."

Luckily they accepted their fate and left, Chaewon apologizing for the mess over and over again, even forcing Hyejoo to apologize for not being helpful.

Well, that was the most exhausting get together Jungeun had ever experienced. Throwing both friendgroups together literally resulted in the definition of chaos and eventhough they made a mess out of their livingroom and almost set the kitchen on fire, Jungeun did feel a tad bit of sympathy for all of them. 

Jinsoul and her cleaned up in silence, throwing themselves in comfy clothes right after. Jungeun couldn't help but notice Jinsouls bright yellow Lemon shorts.

"Ugh, why are you like this?"

"What? They're cute."

They were but only because Jinsoul wore them.

Jungeun just pretended she never thought that.

For the first time ever, the both of them sat down and actually made effort for some casual conversation. They talked about the usual stuff, future plans, their highschool years and Jungeun thought Jinsoul was genuinely interesting.

She took notes of little gestures the other would make, such as tucking strands of loose hair behind her hair or when her eyes would sparkle when she talked about the pranks she used to pull with Yeojin.

Jinsoul said that Yeojin often forced her into it and then they'd force Sooyoung into participating and in the end they'd get detention but it was completely worth it. Jungeun couldn't help but chuckle as she imagined the situation in her head.

"So uh, it was probably not the best first impression today but how do you like the girls so far?" Jinsoul asked, shifting a little to sit more comfortable.

"Honestly, they seem really fun. I mean please, they're not more chaotic than my crew. Although maybe more dangerous? I don't know about you but I'm convinced Chaewon was a pyromaniac in her last life." Jinsoul laughed out loudly at the last part. "Yea, she's not the ideal cook." 

"Speaking of my crew," Jungeun said, looking at Jinsoul, "How do you like them?" 

"Aw they're cool! Yerim and Jiwoos happy characteristics are really contagious! I'm also glad I got to talk to Heejin, Hyunjin didn't shut up about her at all when they first started dating.."

Jungeun knew that feeling too well. It had been no different with Heejin, who talked about how great Hyunjin was all day long. She didn't mind though, she was happy for her friend and she could see that Hyunjin got the best out of Heejin.

Jinsoul interrupted Jungeuns train of thoughts, when she gave her a light pat on the back. 

Literally enough to make Jungeun fall into panic mode.

"I had fun today, eventhough we involuntary ended up here.. But I had fun nonetheless!"

Did Jinsouls voice always sound that.. soft?

Jungeun forced herself out of the trance.

"I had fun too." 

Then she took a deep breath and said something she innerly cringed at.

"You're.. not that bad of a roommate.."

At first Jinsoul looked at her slightly confused but before Jungeun could completely regret what she said, Jinsoul smiled.

Jinsoul smiled.

Jinsoul smiled and it was the best and most genuine and sincere smile Jungeun had ever seen in her entire pathetic college kid life.

It was completely worth the pride Jungeun had put aside to say that.

"You're not that bad yourself Kim Jungeun."

Best thing Jungeun had heard today.

They each went to bed with a warm, fluffy feeling in their chest and stomach that night.

A/n- That was a longer chapter O.o It also had lots of stuff happening but I hope y'all managed to follow along and enjoyed the read! Next chapter will probably come next week but I may or may not be able to update this week :)
