A lone tear comes running down Seulgi’s cheek. She’s hurting badly but she decided to shrug it off because she doesn’t want to spoil the mood since it is not just Seulgi and Joohyun’s anniversary but it is also the day they became a real family so she decided to put aside her feelings for Minju’s sake.

After the call Seulgi proceeded to the pool area where the others are.

“Hey! Everyone, Joohyun cannot make it so let’s start the party.” Seulgi raised her wine glass and said,

“I want to make a toast to celebrate not just Joohyun and I’s anniversary but also the day I became a mother of two. Thank you for coming into my life and making it colorful again my baby Minju. I love you so much.” They all raised their glasses and congratulates the mother and daughter.

“Congratulations to the both of you!” Joy shouted with delight.

After dinner Minju and Yuri performed some songs and of course Joy also sang every song she likes while Seungwan and Seulgi remains beside the pool watching them having the time of their lives.

“Seulbear, I never thought that we would meet again not just the two of us but now together with our partners and daughters as well. I’m so happy in my life right now and I can also see that you were happy in your life now. Just remember Joy and I are always here for you just like the old days.” Seungwan patted her friend’s back and the latter almost teared up at Seungwan’s message.

“Wannie~ I know you and Joy will always be there for me and I’m always thankful for that.” Seulgi hugged Seungwan and the both of them continued drinking.

Seulgi is now sitting at the beach reminiscing her last four years with her wife and Minju. All she could say and think is that it was wonderful and one of the happiest days of her life, then the wind blew which gave Seulgi a chill.

“I wish you were here with me to keep me warm.” Seulgi murmured under her breath.

Suddenly she remembered all that happened a while ago how her wife broke her promise and stay with his colleague instead on their special day. Seulgi’s tears pours out little by little, she was crying silently when someone hugged her from the back, as soon as she saw little hands wrapped around her she knows she’s not alone anymore because there was her little girl giving her the warmth she badly needs right now. Seulgi cried harder when her little girl said,

“Mommy I know you’re not okay today. You are hurting and feeling sad right now because eomma broke her promise, that she’ll be here on our most special day. Remember when you comforted me when eomma didn’t attend my competition I was so lonely back then but you came up to me and cheer me up, so now I wanted to do the same, mommy I want you to know that I’m always here for you and it is okay to cry when you cannot hold it on anymore. Mommy Seulgi I am also happy and thankful that you came into our lives and made it warmer every day. I love you so much mommy, I know you want eomma’s warmth and I’m sorry that she’s not here, so for tonight let me be the one to give you the hug that you deserve.” Minju tighten her hug and snuggled closer to the latter’s neck giving her the warmth that she needed. After she cried her heart out, Seulgi looks at Minju and holds her by the cheek.

“Baby thank you for comforting mommy, I don’t know what to do without you so don’t leave mommy okay?” To which minju nodded. “I love you so much baby girl.” Seulgi added and kissed the crown of Minju’s hair. The two continued to sit there to watch the stars and appreciate the beauty around them.

Joohyun arrives at their house past 10 in the morning. she is ready for their cold treatment because she didn’t show up last night and broke her promise to them. As soon as she enters the mansion her daughter comes running to her.

“Eomma! Welcome home, mommy Seulgi and I prepared a breakfast for you.” Seulgi followed Minju and said,

“Hey! Wifey, we made breakfast, eat first before you rest.” As Joohyun goes to the kitchen Seulgi pulled out a chair for her and Minju serve the breakfast. She saw the plate’s edge’s decoration saying, “I love you wifey, enjoy your breakfast.” Then suddenly the tears crept up in Joohyun’s eyes, she stared at them and as soon as they saw her crying they both wrapped their arms around the latter and Minju said,

“Eomma don’t cry… I don’t wanna see you crying it makes me sad.”

“Minju is right all I want to see is your warm smile that always brightens my day. I know you had a tough day at work so eat up and take a rest, Minju and I will always be by your side.” Joohyun feels a lot more guilty so she broke down in tears and said,

“I-Im so sorry Minju-ah, Seulgi-ah… if I always break my promise, I’m so sorry a-and t-thank you for always understanding me.”

“Don’t say sorry hyunnie, it’s not your fault. It’s no one’s fault so eat up and rest for the day.” Seulgi said while gently rubbing her wife’s back.

After Joohyun takes her breakfast, she went to their room to take a rest. Minju and Seulgi decided to play outside the garden.

Joohyun was awaken by a soft laughter from her daughter, she looked for them and what she saw profoundly warms her heart, they were still at the garden where Minju is laying in her wife’s lap telling Seulgi some fun story while the latter was Minju’s hair lovingly. Joohyun was touched by the gesture so she decided to cook dinner for them and partly because she still feels so sorry for Seulgi for all of her hardships when she’s not around.

“Seulgi-ah… Minju-ah… dinner is ready.” Joohyun called and both of them sat at the dining table.

“Mommy…please let me sleep with you and eomma.” Minju pleaded while giving Seulgi her doe eyes.

“Okay, okay you can sleep with us.” Seulgi surrendered.
