September 1st, 2027

It was the first day of autumn when the weather getting colder, sunrise getting darker, flowers and leaves starting to fall. That night, I held a little party at my house for a friend's graduation with my other 2 friends and Iris Of course. I served them really well, I cooked a few meals and rented good movies to watch.

don't be, I've realized being a selfish and aloof person is useless,

'We have to face the fact that we are human, even the mightiest of us need help.'

At that stage of my life, the reality, the things I learned distorted my perception of friendship. Having friends around will always better.

Those 3 friends of mine were all study in different majors.

The oldest of us, a food lover, eat a lot but never gain weight, doesn't talk much until food comes into the conversation, very touchy person, had experience about pet, raised a puppy, that's why sometimes I asked her help to took care of Iris every time I was busy, she was Iris surrogate mother. She was majored in mathematics and graduated with a perfect GPA of 4.0, she really likes mathematics and also said solving math problems was her stress reliever, it was and still her passion.

The second youngest, very kind but also clumsy, had an odd way to tie her shoelaces, always told me she wanted to help me take care of Iris, but I always refuse, I can't let her gave Iris milk for 'human' baby, again. she just graduated a few weeks before, that day was a party for her, she majored in broadcast journalism, actually, she wanted to be a dentist, but she acknowledges her clumsiness would make it hard to choose a job that requires a micro precision hand movement. it was her alternate but eventually falling in love with journalism.

The youngest, but also the tallest, an energetic kid with a wide smile, bunny teeth and cute dimple, Iris best friend. she was still in college that year, she majored in digital arts. She's a computer nerd, very smart, very talented drawer. Her parents, her big family all of them had a medical-related profession, she was pressured to choose the same path, but she was persistent and refused her parent request. for her, she tried to make a point to her parent, being a doctor is not the only way to have an enjoyable life.

And me?

I was majored in psychology...

I still remember the first day of my freshmen year, the teacher distributed a questionnaire for us to fill out, one of the questions was...

"Reason for choosing psychology?"

My answer was...

"I don't want to make the same mistake"

The tears she shed before she left still linge
