I'm sure that everyone has their own hopes and dreams they want to fulfill, we sacrifice a lot of things just to reach a certain level of success, sometimes those sacrifices are very hard to make and can break you in the process, usually when people reach the point where they are given an ultimatum, they usually don't risk it but I was different, I took the risk which led to the worst pain I have ever felt in my whole life

I took a puff out of my cigarette, I watch the smoke fade with the wind of Seoul, I put out the stick and throw in somewhere on the veranda, I hear a knock out of my hotel room, I drink some of the brandy and clear my throat for the visitor who kocked on my door, my bodyguard Hyunwoo emerged from the double doors of the suite, he fixes his blazer and goes inside the room

"Ma'am we'll be leaving in an hour, do you want me to get Minhee your clothes?" He looks at me from my head to my toes, 

"Uhm yeah... tell her to put it on my bed, I'll just take a quick shower" He nods and goes out of the suite

I proceed to the bathroom and strip off my t-shirt and sweatpants that I wore to sleep last night, I didn't bother to open the heater and showered with cold water, as the years pass by I've learned to find comfort in showering with cold water, I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner then I proceeded to scrub myself with the soap that was provided by the hotel, I quickly finish since I had to dry my hair, I brush my teeth as soon as I wear my bathrobe, I look at myself at the mirror as I brush my teeth

My face was pale and my cheeks were sunken, my eyebags were deeper than the mariana trench by now, I chuckle because I'm practically the walking dead right now, I finish brushing my teeth and start to dry my hair, Minhee enters the room and places my clothes on my bed as I requested, she insists on drying my hair so I let her

"You should dye your hiar back to black Yujinie" She goes through my hair with the dryer and hairbrush

"Hmm you're right" My blonde hair was now faded and a bit unhealthy from all the sleepness nights and smoking

"Do you want to dye it tomorrow and apply hair treatment?" 

"Sure why not, we have to be presentable for business partners right?" We both chuckle at our own inside joke, Minhee-unnie was always there for me like my mother, I always tell her about the nasty business partners that I have and we both joke around to keep ourselves entertained from time to time

She finishes drying my hair and she put it into a half ponytail, she goes to the walk in closet to fix my clothes that I need for this week, I put on my underware and the white shirt that she provided me, I quickly put on the black slacks she also prepared for me, I wait for her so that she can fix shirt, I find it hard to fold the sleeves myself, finshing the final button and leaving the top button open, summers in Korea were hot, I let the shirt flow from the wind from the open veranda,  the shirt was loose on me despite all my clothes were made to fit me, that was months ago and overworking tends to mess up your lifestyle, I could see my body through the thin cloth, I tuck it in my pants and wait for Minhee-unnie to put my suspenders on, I don't use belts anymore, my pants don't fit me properly

Minhee-unnie fixes my shirt after placing the suspenders, she makes me wear my leather sneakers and we go out to attend Jaewon's birthday party, he's Eunbi and Hyewon unnie's now 8 year old son, after him pestering me for months, I had to give in to my favorite god child right? Minhee-unnie hands Hyunwoo-oppa my Corduroy jacket, I leave my cigarettes inside the suite, I don't want Jaewon to give me another scolding about smoking, Jesus that kid can scold harder than my own mother

We have a short ride from the hotel to the venue which was the couple's house, I wear my shades to cover my eyebags, Jaewon was a big worrywart, he wasn't really the problem here, the problem here is that I know she will also be attending. I sigh as I lean back on my seat, Hyunwoo-oppa eyes me from the front seat, she chuckles as he knows why I'm acting like this, oppa knows everything about me, he became like a big brother for me after starting my own company

"Nervous to meet her again Yujinie?" He says with a playful tone

"Tsk I told you not to call me that..." I roll my eyes, "And yes I am nervous, we never really ended things on a good note" I drink some of the water to calm my nerves

"You'll do fine Jinnie, Dr. Lee said you have been really stable" 

"Let's just hope so oppa..."

We arrive at the married couple's house, I see Jaewon from his bedroom window, I wave to him and he smiles wide and runs off, probably to meet me, I can here loud footsteps approaching me, a wild Jaewon runs towards me and hugs me, I pick hinm up and rub his cheek

"Yah Kang Jaewon! You're too heavy for that" Eunbi-unnie emerges
