I'm sure everyone has broken up with their past lovers and also ending it at a very good note, I mean that happened to me but the friendship we have has become awkward. It was a mutual understanding for both parties, it's hard for me to make time for her because of my job, maybe she got tired of waiting for me. I mean I was at fault since I just couldn't find time to be with her anymore, I come home to her already sleeping, I leave for work  while she's still sleeping, I barely see her awake, maybe when I arrive a bit early than 3 am in the morning

Being a director of a big company has it's pros and cons, it may have helped us in our daily lives but it affected our relationship. The company has been on high demand for 2 years now, I have to make sure reports and the logs are correct or else we will take a very big hit, I rarely finish anything early since I'm always drowned in paperwork.

I finally look at the time on my laptop, it was already 2 in the morning and I barely finished any of the paperworks and I had to be awake at 7 for a meeting, I sigh as I rub the tiredness out of my eyes, my back was aching and my wrists were now practically sore, I stretch my back to relieve some of the pain and hear a car engine nearing my house, the engine starts to sound weirdly and suddenly stops, I look out the window out of curiosity and notice a familiar car in my driveway. As I stand up to check outside, a familiar woman goes out of the car tired and frustrated, I stood frozen realizing who it was, why am I still affectied by her? It's been months since we last saw each other 

she hesitantly goes up to my porch and rings the bell, I walk up to the door waiting for a few seconds before I open it, she stands there in her casual clothes and her hair in a bun, she dyed her hair to brown and face a bit red but still pretty, did she drink?

I look at her for a few seconds before I could even mutter a single word

"uhmmm.... What's going on?" I clear my throat

"O-oh it's just that my car broke down while going home and I couldn't think of anyone in the area but you" she awkwardly smiles at me

"You're lucky I'm awake" I move a bit, signaling her to come in my house, I let out a shaky breathe as she passes me 

"I'm really sorry about this, it's just that we had dinner and they wouldn't let me come home without having fun" she sits on the couch casually, leaning her head on it

"Oh yeah, Yena-unnie actually invited me, obviously I couldn't go" I point at my study table, she nods 

I close the door to my study since I know she hates seeing it all messed up, I barely have time to be in this house, thank you Mrs. Son for cleaning after me you are truly a blessing

"I'll check on your car and-" as if on cue, rain started to pour down, "-fi
