Reika's laughter echoed across the apartment. The girl was happily singing to herself as she washed the dishes. Watching a video that caused laughter to fill the air. 

Yumi didn't think anything could be better, just them caught up in their apartment filled with happiness. Reika glimmering, shining.

Yumi sometimes wondered if cursed to be in a time loop, she'd choose to be forever stuck in this moment. Where her happy Reika remained.

Where there was no hospital and no medication. There was just them stuck here forever.

Yumi then wonders if it would be a moment Reika would want. Would she want to be forever? Stuck in a loop of endless happiness.

Perhaps not. Perhaps Yumi  was just greedy and desperate for it to feel okay again.

Their apartment feels empty now. Yumi barely using the lamps. She'd rather stay stuck here, wallowing in her sadness forever.

As if waiting for Reika to burst through the door with her signature smile.

But it never came, and Reika was forever gone.
