Yuqi and Lucas release their embrace and hold hands. Lucas tilts his head down while Yuqi tilts her head up. Both gaze into each other's eyes thinking they never once thought of meeting up because of a situation like this

 

Taking the positivity side from it, Lucas grins widely and told Yuqi to look at one from the bright side, “We can finally see each other after months of failing from trying”

 

Yuqi let’s go of her part of the hand because she felt a sudden heat rushing up to her cheeks. Not wanting Lucas to see her face turning light pink, Yuqi looks down on the floor, “Guess we don’t need super ability after all” she clears , “Thank you—” she takes a deep breath gathering her guts back after feeling her blushed cheeks has worn down to stare back at Lucas’s eyes, “For dropping by. But the girls probably will come home any time soon. So I think it’s best you—”

 

“Oh yeah yeah—” replied Lucas accepting the signal it’s time to head home, “I did say I won’t take too long” he giggles scratching his head while roaming his eyes around the dorm and just now he notice there’s empty moving boxes placed in the living room, “You gonna walk me to the door?”

 

“Sure”

 

“You girls moving?” Lucas asked walking side by side back to the entrance door with her

 

Yuqi nodded, “Me, Shuhua and Miyeon jiejie will be moving to the building next door”

 

“You mean to tell me, you, Shuhua and Miyeon jiejie will be living separately with Minnie jiejie, Soojin jiejie and Soyeon?” he asked taking out his phone and message Soyeon telling her he’ll be on his way back soon

 

Yuqi get’s and understand what Lucas is trying to point out. A group that’s not even 2 years old able to go through the whole apartment transition when senior groups had to wait years to do so, “We didn’t asked and were surprised ourselves” she said about her and the girls reaction when being told that day. She continued saying that Cube said they are giving what they earned throughout that almost 2 years to be

 

“I should’ve cast at Cube instead of—”

 

“Yah” Yuqi cuts Lucas off, “Never regret with every decision you’ve made. Even if it doesn’t turn out like the way you expect it to be. It will still be a life experience that can be useful in the future”

 

Lucas let out a huge smile and a soft laughter, “I love it when your wise thoughts starts attacking me” he pinches her cheeks

 

“Besides. SM did give you a booked job throughout this year right?” she brushes aside his fingers from her cheeks

 

“You’re right,” he said, “No matter how physically tired I am preparing for it all, like Ten ge once said, it’s better than being put in the dungeon”

 

“That’s the Lucas I know” Yuqi smiles friendly bopping Lucas’s right shoulder with her fist and before she can put her hand on the door knob, she didn’t forget to inform him that Cube also given the girls a couple days off before the upcoming Soribada awards and all of them are planning to spend it with their family

 

Hearing Yuqi is going home and spend time with her mom and dad at a time she needs it the most makes him very happy, “When?” he asked

 

“The 16th” she replied

 

“Enjoy your holiday Yuci” he smiles helping her with the door, “It’s nice seeing you” his tones sounds a little sad reuniting only in amount of short time

 

“It’s nice seeing you too” Yuqi stand next to the open door, watching him stepping out of the dorm, “Lucas” she calls and he turns around to him, “Jiayou”

 

“I’ll be rooting behind the screen for you when the Soribada awards comes” he said ending their sudden and unplanned meeting

When the girls came back, the entire light in the dorm has been dim out by Yuqi. Soyeon seeing no sign of Yuqi around the living room area, immediately turns her footsteps to Yuqi and Minnie’s room to check up on Yuqi

 

Soyeon quietly opens the door and relief to see Yuqi is already on her bed tucked in and sound asleep

 

As she closes the door again, came along Minnie, “What is it?” she whispers to Soyeon seeing her smile

 

“I got a feeling her mood will be much more better tomorrow” Soyeon whispers back stepping aside for Minnie to go inside the room

 

“Her?” Minnie asked, “Woogie?” she points to the door, “Is there something you’re not telling me? You’ve been acting strange ever since Shuhua asked the second time why you didn’t want to go home yet” Minnie squints her eyes getting suspicious

 

“Have a pleasant sleep, Minnie ya” Soyeon leaving Minnie with a hanging question

On the next day, Yuqi wakes up by the silent buzzing of her phone vibrating under her pillow. Though it’s a day off, she purposely set her alarm early so she can go to the supermarket and prepare breakfast for the girls as her appreciation of how much she loves them and thankful she is they tried to make her smile throughout the day yesterday

 

Yuqi turns the alarm off and notice there's one unread chat Lucas sent her after she falls asleep, Sweet dreams, she clicks and reads it. It maybe a two word sentence but it put a smile on Yuqi. That brief visit from him kind of did boost her mood exactly according to what Soyeon have said last night

 

Yuqi puts aside her phone back to where it was and quietly gets out of her bed. She tiptoed her way out to the bathroom and back in the room again to get ready, not wanting to disturb Minnie’s sleep remembering it was almost midnight last night when she went inside the bedroom to go to sleep and the girls haven’t come back yet

 

But as Yuqi is about to get her lotion that’s inside on the second drawer beside Minnie’s bed side, Minnie’s eyes slowly waking itself up, “Good morning?” she smiles still in a squat position

 

“Hmm?” Minnie stares at Yuqi blankly

 

“Did I startled you? I swear I'm being quiet unlike my usual self does every morning” Yuqi stands back up straight

 

Minnie stretches her arms and body, “What time is it?” she sits up leaning her back to the headboard

 

“Time of too early to wake up on a day off” Yuqi smiles closing back the drawer and putting on the lotion

 

“Why are you awake?” Minnie yawns

 

“Because I just want to wake up?” Yuqi laughs softly putting the lotion back to the drawer and heads to the door room

 

“Where are you going?” Minnie asked pausing Yuqi’s steps

 

Yuqi turns around to Minnie, “I’m going downstairs” she smiles turning back around to the door, “Chat me if you need anything while i’m at the supermarket”

 

Minnie continue to watch Yuqi exit the room door and closing back the door while she flashbacks to the part where soyeon said, I got a feeling her mood will be much better tomorrow, that night

 

She lay back down and snuggles her blanket, “Whatever it is, I'm happy to see the smile” she said to herself and went back to sleep

As for Lucas. It’s another day of practice for SuperM preparation and another recording session for the upcoming tracks of WayV’s album that has been set for come back around after SuperM’s debut promotion ends

 

Luclint : I’m guessing you’re still asleep?

 

He chatted Yuqi when on his way to SM building with all of the WayV members

 

Yucisha : You guessed wrong

 

Yuqi replies when done paying her groceries and ready to walk back to the dorm that’s only minutes away
