The filming was forced to put on halt for hours due the sudden change in weather

A crew informs the representative from two teams to go take their position for the next race segment though the drizzle hasn’t stopped

 

The yellow team; Yuqi, Zheng kai and Li Heqin, cheers for Lucas and Li chen as they go get ready telling them to be careful because the sets and obstacles looks visible wet through the screens they’ll be monitoring from

Winning the previous game, the blue time reap an advantage of getting ahead start while the yellow team have to wait for the second horn to go off

 

Lucas and Li chen starts off fast as soon as it does, smoothly piercing the first two set they’re able to penetrate a couple more before the chaser begin the hunt to capture whoever is leading from reaching the finish line

 

The chaser bypassed Li chen along with one representative of the blue team when attempting to go to the next set

 

Arduous designed obstruction and the cold atmosphere that night made it impossible to not get exhausted so easily

 

Anyone who is participating will have the difficulty to stabilize their breathing unless they’re a well trained professional runner

 

Lucas is one of those whose capable to combat the situation naturally because he got a good stamina and strength, but that’s before what everyone was worried about happened

Watching Lucas strode his way back to the yellow team in a good state and smile, solace the eeriness that kind of bothered Yuqi’s mind earlier in just an instant

The blue and yellow team were given the time to discuss thoroughly the strategy and select order who’ll go first and last minutes before the race starts

Recalling the last person will have to climb up a tall building and ziplining across, Li chen told Yuqi there’s still time if she wants to switch places with him or Zheng kai

Obtained points to start the race first accelerate my part to give benefit of extra time to the others to accomplish their task without the need to worry being chased by the opponent

 

The blue team were still striving on the second set of obstacles when Zheng kai ge is already half way in his part

 

I continue to monitor the rest of it with Lin Heqin jiejie through the screen in front of us on the main set

 

I’m thrilled to discover the strategy choice is maintaining our position in leading the race

 

Yuci even got a slight moment to contemplate in silence concentrating to tackle one of the things she’s afraid of

 

I cheer, “Jaiyo”, as I and the crowd witnesses of her having the bravery to climb up the rope all the way to the top without stopping one second

 

Let’s hope my facial expression doesn’t show too much enthusiasm because it wasn’t easy restraining myself from wanting to shout THAT’S MY GIRLFRIEND

Lucas’s heart sank hearing Yuqi’s weeping voice through his ear piece watching her on screen having to make a decision while being serve with a view that terrifies her

 

“Jaiyo”, Lucas encourages Yuqi like she did when he fell, “Let’s go Yuci”, grasping on his mic closer to his mouth for her to hear him clearly

I focus up to where the zip line are connected, nervously waiting and proud watching Yuci as she pulls through it like she said she would

 

I shout of joy continue to monitor my eyes as she goes down the line to the other building

 

My girlfriend everyone

 

Capable to fight and beat her fears, going down the dangerous looking zipline with no safety underneath it even I will probably think twice crossing it 

 

And all that’s left now is we wait who will show up first to push the button claiming the title winner

 

It could be anyone at the point because it turned into a neck to neck situation because of Yuci’s freezing moment

It felt great and awesome seeing her showing and running up the bridge lighting up the flare to declare our team victory

 

“Yeah”, I said watching her wait for Xuan Yi jiejie to walk together back to the main se

 

And poor little didn’t get a big fat hug like the others did from her which is understandable. For the sake of professionalism, we only high five each other

The long night has come to an end

 

Everyone there were extremely exhausted from the filming delay and being showered by drizzles for hours they couldn’t wait to go back for a real warm one

 

Li chen, Zheng kai and Lucas has seated when Yuqi and Lin Heqin enters the van 

 

Yuqi didn’t know what possessed her when she approaches to where Lucas is sitting and point out to the empty seat beside him when she can just sit with Lin Heqin or pick the other empty ones

The neatly folded blanket Lucas got from the paramedic was set aside to give room for Yuqi, “Be my guest. Please”, giving permission to reserve the seat

 

Seconds later the production team whose responsible for the guest cast throughout the filming absent making sure no one is left behind, “We’re good”, she alerts the driver

Lucas opens the blanket to randomly place it on top of his and Yuqi’s lap. Her eyes stays focus on him curious to see what he’s going to do next

 

Ever since yesterday night, Yuqi is sure Lucas got stockpiles of ideas restored going on in his head and she guesses it right

 

Lucas slyly takes Yuqi’s hand hiding it underneath the blanket just to link hands with his throughout their way back to the hotel

 

From the position of where the two is sitting at the back and the others in front of them, fallen asleep already, it’s evident to say them hide holding hands will raise no suspicion

 

“Why do you smell like heat patches?”, Yuqi abruptly whisper closely to Lucas getting a good sniff one more time assuring she’s not hallucinating, “What?”, she stops seeing him not having it

Lucas and Yuqi’s manager prepared traditional herbal tea in each of the rooms knowing they work under the light rain for hours

So once they finish cleaning up, they can straightaway fall asleep without the need to count sheeps

 

Lucas usually is obedient when it comes to what his manager told him to do, but special for this night, he plans to rebel a little by not doing the exact order what he’s instructed

 

The tea will be drinked after he showers, not the other way around. For the sake of not wanting the rest of the hours to go to waste by falling asleep too soon
