Yuqi grabs the hoodie jacket that’s hung behind her door room since yesterday to double up with what she has on now to go to the other dorm only 5 minutes of walk, together with Miyeon and Shuhua to watch the continues of episode 1, Queendom

 

But before the three heads on over to Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon’s place, they stop by the mini market located at the lower floor of the dorm’s building to buy some drinks

 

Don’t buy food. We prepared plenty already, Soojin’s message to Miyeon

 

Miyeon and Shuhua went to the beverage section to get the requested drinks. Yuqi follows from behind but pauses her steps in front of the noodles rack to quickly check the new notification on her phone

 

Luclint : Any spoilers I should know about tonight?

 

It’s Lucas asking for spoilers. A question he could’ve ask half an hour ago when they were video calling each other

 

Yucisha : Something I’m sure you are able to understand without it  needed to be translated

Being born in a city where most of its people speaks Cantonese and surrounded by people who speaks it daily throughout his childhood life, Lucas admittedly it’s the most fluent out of the bunch he knows of

 

Luclint : It might sound nonsense but my mother kind of only speaks Thai when we’re in thailand or when her relatives from Thailand comes by to visit us only

Luclint : She never force me either

Luclint : She said i’ll learn automatically by myself through time and just by listening

Yucisha : How’s that coming so far?

Yuqi flashbacks to the one scene where Lucas and Bambam tries to have a conversation in Thai. Bambam who speaks the language half of his life knew immediately Lucas couldn’t

 

Yucisha : I thought it was just an act

Yucisha : No worries. Nobody cared if you couldn’t anyways

Yucisha : Miyeon unnie done paying the drinks

Though the girls knew the results and winner, they’re still a bit nervous with how Mnet’s going to edit the episode. They can only hope every time an episode airs, there will be no evil editing going on

 

Because like any other broadcast network, Mnet have it’s way of trying to get the ratings by pasting in a drama between the scenes making it as if there’s something going on between two or more person when there’s actually isn’t

 

On last week episode, where the girls weren’t able to make it to the introduction session, Mnet uses the situation to try create a drama by coming up with a rule of deducting points to the groups that doesn’t have their group name tag put up on the board that will determine their sequence in performing

 

Mnet failed to get their drama because Mamamoo’s Moonbyul stepped up to the platform and puts up (G)i-dle name tag for them when the others a little hesitant too because it’s a competition after all

 

A staff told the girls about the incident and on the first day of the performance filming where everyone was present, the girls took a time to visit Mamamoo’s changing room to thank Moonbyul for her generosity move when she cleary could just let it slip by

 

The 6 years experience and dealing with broadcast networks, Mamamoo members said to the girls, “We want to compete fair and square”

 

Moonbyul even winked to Soyeon and said she’s sure Soyeon gets what they’re trying say because Soyeon been in a survival show produced by Mnet

 

“We probably placed 6th if wasn’t for Moonbyul sunbaenim” Soojin recapping that part of the episode

Lucas checks the time on his phone to see how many minutes left till Queendom starts airing, around 10 minutes, he counted

 

He finished packing for tomorrow’s schedule to go to China with Yangyang and Kun. The three will be attending an event by one of their signed sponsorship

 

When told by Yuqi that she too will have a schedule in China on the 7th but the chance of them getting to meet is nowhere near 1% because they’ll be in different cities, Lucas is still happy knowing that she’ll be in China at the same time that he is

 

“Even our flight back will only be minutes apart from each other. If that isn’t fate then I don’t know what it is” said Lucas

 

Lucas then make use of the remaining minutes to get the 2 can of beer and heats 2 packs of ready to eat kimbab he purposely bought that day to accompany the night

 

“Any occasion for that?” Kun bumps into Lucas on his way out from the bathroom and saw the drinks and food in Lucas’s hand

 

Lucas shakes his head and reminds Kun about Queendom, “Something to do so I don’t bore myself while I wait for the girls screen time to pop up”

 

Kun wraps his arm around Lucas with a huge smirk on his face, “The girls or Yuci?” joining Lucas to the living room where Winwin awaits him with the television already turn on

 

“Hasn’t a started yet” Winwin exclaims as the two enters

 

“You didn’t sound and look this excited last week” Kun sitting down on Winwin’s right side while Lucas on his left

 

“Gege here turns out to be a fan of (G)i-dle—” Lucas grins

 

One day Winwin randomly comes up to Lucas and asked if he still keeps in contact with Yuqi after Keep Running ended because he wondered if Lucas can get the I Am and I Made album he owns signed by the girls

 

“Wait” Kun cuts in, “You have all two?”

 

“I was shook myself” said Lucas

 

Hearing the television being and chattering from inside the living room, the rest of the member starts showing up one by one

 

Seeing they are now watching Queendom, Ten teasingly asked Lucas who he thought should be the winner for today, “(G)i-dle. Of course” Lucas answers with full of confidence and got a big fat high five from Winwin

 

“Is there something going on between him and (G)i-dle or something?” Xiaojun asked innocently, “His face lights up every time (G)i-dle name being mention”

 

Ten turns to Xiaojun with rolling eyes and light sigh. He jokes how he thought Xiaojun was more sensitive to these kind of thing comparing to Yangyang but he was wrong

 

Yangyang detected Lucas’s feelings for Yuqi the moment Lucas saw Yuqi’s picture on the article that day

 

When Xiaojun asked who else knew, everyone but him raises their hand and take turns telling their version on how and when they found out about it

 

Winwin who shares a room with Lucas said no matter how careful Lucas tries to hide with whom he often video calls with, eventually he will get caught and did

 

Ten directly asked Lucas the moment he had a hunch without any hesitation and waiting, “Not a big fan of playing guessing game”

 

Kun flashbacks to the first time Lucas came to him for some advice about a mystery girl that turns out to be Yuqi, “You can say I’m his adviser”

 

“Ten ge already gave you the highlight of mine” Yangyang continue telling Xiaojun he asked Ten if he knew the day after he suspects something is going on
