The next morning

Evocations allowing the intoxicated sight to play with his hallucination affected him to mistaking Sora for Yuqi inflicted a sudden guilt

Only a tiny portion of relief, nothing out of the norms might’ve happened when recalling the time he woke up alone in the room. But, in split seconds, that hope shatters into a million a pieces spotting a faint bruise like hickey on the lower right side of the neck

I invited Lucas to sit and begin the story saying the hickey originated from a truth and dare game. The game went down he was already drunk with the other hyungs

It’s why the incident was inaccessible to obtain in Lucas’s memory drive the next day. Including the part he accepted Baekhyun’s dare

Discover Baekhyun was the mastermind behind the love stamp is a bit startling for Lucas because hyung is one from the many who obviously knows about his status with Woogie. And before he goes blaming it all on Baekhyun, I told him that it was himself that requested hyung gives a challenging dare

Coming to a realization Lucas wasn’t being kidding at the time, moved Taemin to intervene and persuade him not to do something he’ll regret

Lucas correctly guessed what happen next ; He didn’t listen and carried on

“Look at the bright side”, I patted his back cheering him up, “At least noona was considerate enough choosing a spot where you’re able to hide it”

I’m shook noona went along with it, Lucas muttered

Witnessed Sora asked Lucas if he’s really willing to before doing so not just once, but 3 times, I come to her defense on the matter

Anything else I should know of?, Lucas asked

I hesitated to tell the rest but Lucas insisted saying he’s ready to hear whatever truth to be told next

Mark revealed after the dare, Lucas fled somewhere with Sora and came back half an hour later. When being questioned by Mark, her nor Lucas didn’t give a direct answer. Just her exclaiming the desire intending to do something more exciting together with Lucas requires him to be in a sober state

Zero memories of the half an hour soared up the guilt turning out Lucas wasn’t as prepared as he thought he would be

“Talk to noona if you must”, suggested Mark because only Sora who holds the answer

Maybe it’s better I pretend the story ended at the dare. The rest never existed, Lucas pondered

The sun slowly illuminates the sky signifying the early hours will enter the morning soon in China

The width of Yuqi’s smile decreased as the noon turned into evening

Trying to maintain the happy visage underneath the drizzle and chilling air throughout the filming was a tough challenge she eventually ran out of breath and stopped running

A crew alerted the medical team, and they immediately rushed in. Having difficulties regulating air, Yuqi is taken backstage to get cared for. She is told to rest and withdraw from the game. But retreating in the middle of work isn’t her character

A tiny figure walks back on set just 20 minutes after she is told to setback. And although she hasn’t fully recovered, the consistency making sure the fans got water and warmth didn’t fade

Despite Yuqi failing to finish until the end, people still praise and applaud for her determination. She can travel back to Korea patting herself on the back for trying her best. Succeeded to run further than some male cast there and ran until she couldn’t anymore

2 days later

Lucas eagerly wants to contact Yuqi. He chats messages her first to check if she still awake remembering their time zone differences were far apart

Yucisha : Hey 😅

Luclint : What took you so long?

Yucisha : I just got home

Yucisha : Flight back to Korea today?

Luclint : Yes!

Luclint : I want to video call you but I know it’s late there

Yucisha : It actually is. Past midnight 🤓

Luclint : Better you rest then 😩 I’ll call on the transit stop
