"A three bedroom suite is great and all but man, when can we ever get our own rooms?" Yuto sulked, throwing his backpack onto the tatami mat. He watched as the content spilled over, and he sighed- forgetting that he had opened it previously.
"But don't you love sharing rooms with me?" Chinen joked, watching him struggle with belongings. "Maybe I can catch some good luck from you today. I definitely need it for the snow slopes later."
"I may have the best luck out of all of you, but today isn't really cutting it out for me." Yuto replied. Just when he managed to get back up after shoving everything back into his backpack, his foot got caught between the folds of a folded futon and he lost his balance. His bag flew out of his hands and all of his belongings spilled out onto the mat once more.
"MOU..." He whined, staring down at in disbelief.
"Perhaps it's me?" Rio spoke up and in an instant, Ryosuke, Chinen, Yuto, Daiki, and Amu turned their heads into her direction. "I mean, I'm practicaly known for the bad luck aura." She added, feeling guilty for all of misfortunes that happened to Yuto ever since the six of them arrived at Niigata.
"Of course not, Rio!" Yuto immediately objected. "I'm sure that my good luck was bound to run out eventually." He explained and chuckled nervously as Ryosuke raised an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Hey Yu-" Ryosuke began to question him but was immediately cut off by Daiki who suddenly patted him on the shoulder, destroying his chain of thoughts.
"Maa, let's not worry too much about good or bad luck, right Ryo?" Daiki interjected. Immediately, the latter snapped his attention away from Yuto and nodded.
"Yeah." Ryosuke answered before locking gazes once more with his childhood friend. "Let's head to the slopes. We can create our own chances of luck there."

As expected of any Johnny's talentee, Ryosuke, Yuto, Daiki, and Chinen were complete naturals. Rio and Amu on the other hand, felt like they were about to plummet towards their deaths.
"Lets go on a count of three." Ryosuke suggested. However, before he was even able to count, Yuto had already beaten him for a head start.
"See ya at the bottom!" Yuto yelled before pushing off. In an instant, he vanished from everyone's view and Ryosuke immediately trailed right after him. "OI, YUTO!" He yelled, pushing off as well, hoping to make up for the seconds he lost.
"Mou... What happened teaching me?!" Rio exclaimed before throwing herself down the mountain. However, as soon as she left the top, she immediately regretted it and found herself falling every couple of meters.
At this point, Ryosuke was already half way towards the bottom. Because of his experience in balance and coordination, he easily managed to pass the latter and it was Yuto who was now trailing behind Ryosuke.
Not wanting anyone else to cut between them in this heated competition, Yuto glanced back to see if anyone was at his tail but frowned when he saw how badly Rio was struggling. Hi guilt swallowed him entirely and he immediately paused halfway in his tracks to wait for her to make her way down.
"You're slowly getting the hang of it!" He grinned when he saw her approach him.
"Yuto! I don't know how to brake!" She whimpered, flailing her arms to the side for balance. Before he was able to tell her anything, she collided into him and accidentally pulled him with her as she fell.
Yuto sprawled his hands out so that he wouldn't crush the girl underneath him. However, their faces were so close that their noses practically touched. Immediately, Yuto threw himself off from her and laid next to her on the snow, feeling his heart race as he desperately tried to recall the earlier seconds of that moment.
"Sorry, Yuto!" Rio apologized, crawling onto her knees in an attempt to catch her breath. "Maybe snowboarding was a bad idea for me."
"Don't worry about it." The latter assured her as he sat up. "Everyone falls in the beginning. Are you okay? You're not injured right?"
Rio smiled. "I'm perfectly fine." She answered, appreciating Yuto's kindness. "Are you?"
Yuto tilted his head. "What was your name again?" He asked as Rio's smile instantly vanished.
As soon as he saw her worried expression, he bursted into laughter and patted her on the head. "Just kidding, Rio. I'm fine!"
"Yo
