Baekhyun despised hangovers. Contrary to the high and freedom he felt with alcohol, the morning after always felt like a disaster. However, waking up and forcing himself to look in the mirror as a witness to his own disorder was a routine he disdained even more so than the raging thirst and headache.
His single dorm gave him the privacy he needed and required to do about his business and personal affairs, but it also cloaked his mornings from the world. Groaning, Baekhyun instinctively rolled over and grabbed his metal water bottle from the side table, taking gulps of water into his system before twisting the cap back on.
Seconds passed when his brain began to regain function, well enough to realize that he wasn't alone and there was a warm, body fast asleep next to him underneath the covers. Immediately, Baekhyun froze, snapping his head down towards the individual beside him.
The man was no stranger, but his presence left a little more to be desired from. Baekhyun held nothing back when he put a hand on his one night stand's chest.
"Jongin." His voice was raspy, but its sharpness remained. "Jongin... Get up."
Initially, Jongin stirred, eyes barely fluttering before Baekhyun took it upon himself to shake him once more. The shoves weren't gentle, but they weren't entirely impolite either. However, Baekhyun's message was clear and straightforward. Leave.
"... Can't you give me five more minutes?" Jongin complained, peaking one eye open to see the dark brunet looking at him with a look of annoyance. "It's only eight."
