Chapter 3: Exclusive

The walls in Baekhyun's private quarters were kept bare white, just as the latter liked it to be. If a stranger stepped into his room, arrangements and aesthetics would have given no indication as to what type of person preferred to reside in that specific environment, yet this hypothetical situation wasn't far from the actual truth. The walls paralleled the man who lived within those four walls. Baekhyun was just as difficult to decipher.

There was always sadness strongly hidden behind his hooded eyes, and Chanyeol only saw glimpses of what Baekhyun kept in the dark before being pushed back and told to mind his own business. Try as he might, he knew that there were barriers he couldn't tear down and walls that were too high to conquer without the complete surrender of its person.

As he lied in the male's bed, and quiet, Chanyeol's eyes observed Baekhyun's back as the he sat upright to check his phone in silence. There were scratch marks, ones that weren't of his doings, and bruises where fingers held a little too tightly on his right arm. All the signs of rough were present and the football player had to force his eyes to divert in the hopes of avoiding the anger and jealousy that came with having to share someone who he knew would never remain exclusively his.

"Are you done checking your text messages?" 

Glancing behind him, Baekhyun scoffed quietly before returning his attention to the device in his hands. "I've been ignoring too many things today. Should at least reply to some."

"Come here." 

"No."
