It's raining cats and dogs outside her apartment. She can hear the rain falling in big drops violently on the balcony railing. How weird, it was all sunny and bright before.

She wonders whose soul being drowned in a sea of grief for rain to be invited over. With teeth being grit, she feels her heart clenches.

Indeed rain can be associated with sadness.

Because that is exactly what she is feeling right now.

The pain from longing.

And she hates it a little bit too much.

It .

Chaewon tries to forget whatever emotions trying to succumb to heart by switching her sleep position in the bed. She can't help but to shiver in her fluffy mint-colored blanket.

Her arms folded across her chest as she envelops herself in a hug.

Eyes wandering, searching for the clock.

11 P.M.

Already late at night.

The window, trickles with rain drops, is almost fully covered with a deep maroon curtain, making her room pitch black.

She close her droopy eyes in an attempt to sleep.

After a few more struggling and sighing here and there, she eventually gave up.

Her mind won't let her free.

Again.

It is like a routine before she let herself to sleep like a baby everyday. Well, her brain almost doesn't permit her to rest, but as long as she does the ritual, then it's perfectly fine.

There are days when she felt exhausted from too much work though - her active brain would slowed down and allowed her to rest automatically without any force.

But today is just like the usual, normal days.

So might as well make herself comfortable.

With her blanket covering her face, leaving only a tiny space for air to creep in, her hands roaming outside the blanket, searching for her favorite stuffed animals on her left side.

Chapter 6: TBH, this whole chapter kept me on the edge! I think I was as tense as the characters lol

Yujin’s reaction was...wow! I mean, it was heartbreaking and shocking, a baby shouldn’t be put through so much distress, especially when it’s her parents’ fault! I love how brave and bold she is though, I really hope she will be fine after it all.

As for Minjoo...Again, this whole scene was such a powerful one, with so much going on. I could clearly understand Minjoo’s inner conflict and all the emotions she was feeling, and I found myself rooting for her to be brave, at the same time I was afraid of the consequences and could understand perfectly why she might decide to not to be. Honestly her parents are the worst, author I might ask you for permission to hunt them down personally!

I’m so, so glad, Minjoo has Chaewon in her life! I’m still a little surprised with Min’s character here, and all her duality (?), but things are coming together now. Seeing the way they met really makes things even more sweeter.

I’m still afraid for what is to come, but perhaps a little more hopeful now. I think their next interaction will be very important, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for them!

Chapter 6: Well, that escalated really fast, thank god Yujin has the same stand as Minjoo, I feel so bad for the both of them, their parents are so controlling, I hope Yujin is going to be okay. Also, how dare they talk bad about Chaewon that is something no one could stand, especially Minjoo.

But on the other hand, Minjoo called Chaewon her knight in shining armour, awww, and now Minjoo’s knight in shining armour is coming to save her! (Did that sound cheesy? I don’t know lmao)

Chapter 5: "and also other things she couldn't find words to tell" Okay, now you got me worried. Then the chapter progressed and I got even more worried. And then the next chapter was so not what I was expecting.

I'm actually very surprised by Minjoo's pov. From the many flings to her last break up, to all her resentment towards her family. I mean, I was expecting a different tone from her, but it was actually more angrier (for the lack of a better word) than I thought. Maybe because seeing her through Chae's eyes makes her look so sweet and peaceful always, I guess that is the image she tries to show to her best friend instead of her real feelings all the time. I wonder how much Chaewon really knows her...I'm rambling, sorry (don't take my words too seriously, I tend to 'talk' too much in my comments).

All I can say about the ending of the chapter is: Oh no, oh no, oh to the f-ing no. Can not believe this is happening.

Chaewon is in for the worst news ever.

Chapter 3: I was rather curious when I saw this story description because it fits well with my taste. Got say I’m still a little confused about where things are heading and what actually happened with these two. The first chapter is actually my favorite, has a very nice style to it and is a good opening for the story, while the flashbacks had a very different tone to it.

I wonder what is going on with Minjoo here and who is even her girlfriend because it seems like our Chaewon is here is a little too dense... Of course, the cuddling scene was adorable and no doubt every single reader went back to check it again lol

I’ll be looking forward the next chapters, thank you for sharing this work!
