"National Crime Team?" Doyoung raised an eyebrow. "Is that supposed to be our department's official name?"

The chief, Na Haeun shrugged her shoulders as she flipped the page of her book. "Well it was supposed to be, or at least I hoped it would be. The others would rather prefer the name 'Special Investigation Unit' for this team and I couldn't defy them, well at least not this time." She said while scoffing as she crossed her arms together. "Those ignorant buffoons think they can command me to do whatever they want, as if." She murmured the last two words silently under her breath. At this, the whole team just stared at the woman, not really sure how to react.

"Anyway!" Haeun clasped her hands together as she stared at the group with an eager glint in her eyes. "You are all here for a reason, which means I have high hopes for each of you. Crimes are getting far more severe in South Korea and I fear the worst if we don't do anything about here. You all have the potential to help me and this country from turning to absolute chaos.

"We need to be a team then, we need to do our best to make sure that justice is served. So, who's ready to catch some criminals?" Haeun asked as she crossed her arms together, quirking an eyebrow at the group. The others turned their heads to look at one and another before ultimately turning to nod at the chief, making her smile.

"Well, this is absolutely perfect."

Hello, dear Internet!

I'm going to be working on a new story with a really good friend of mine, EasyIzzy! God bless this child-

We have been planning to collab with each other one day and this day will be the start of this beautiful creation made from our collaboration! And with us being mystery and crime-loving freaks, we decided to something a little more different than usual which is starting a new story with a mystery, crime, action-packed and policeau!

But first thing first! Here are some things I need to address, for both of us.

• You don't really need to call me Authornim, just Mellie will be fine. [ I'm fine with Izzy or author-nim, either way is cool! ]
• Please understand that we're still students so we don't always have the time to write this story but however, we'll do our best to write and update chapters for this story!
• This story may focus on a lot of elements, whether it be friendship, mystery, action, crimes and romance too.
• This story may also have a lot of gruesome scenes since well this story is about stopping the corruption in the city and solving cases in the name of justice. But we'll definitely give you warnings of the upcoming chapter and marked the chapters with the gruesome scenes with warnings.

Mellie basically talked most of the things I usually address so there's not much left for me to say :) 

This will officially be my second fic that revolves around the usual genres of police, crime, action and mystery after On Your Side. I'm excited to finally be able to share this story that Mellie and I have been working on for some time.  I hope everyone will anticipate this story and shower it with lots of love!
