Felix: Not What I Seem Pt. 1

Imagine Collection: Stray Kids

Backstory

No one can understand me. They don't know that I'm covering my pain by putting up a cold facade. -Y/N

People think they got me all figured out. They don't know that I'm covering my pain with a smile. -Felix

They're both hurt but, they hide it in different ways.

Felix's POV

Another shift finished at Cafe The Bridge. I somewhat feel like a superhero. Warm and talkative by day, silent and chill by night. The owner lets me stay a while after my shift is over and trusts me to close it when I leave. I usually listen to music and read a book from the little library the cafe has and go outside to the balcony. It's exactly what I did today. I rarely have late night customers coming in but today was different. From the balcony view, I see a girl about my age with shoulder length, navy blue hair wearing an all-black outfit enter the cafe. I swiftly make my way downstairs to welcome her.

"Huh, the place did change," I hear her deep, velvety voice say.

I put on a warm smile and say,"Welcome to Cafe The Bridge!"

She looks around the cafe as I make my way behind the counter.

"Hello miss, what would you like to order?" I say.

"Nothing, I'm just visiting, that's all," She says monotonely. She walks towards the kitchen, which was behind me.

"Ah, miss, you can't go into this part of the cafe."

"It's fine, I used to work here and the owner knows me."

"Um, well, uh- okay then?"

"How long have you been working here?"

"Um, about two months or so."

"So when was this place renovated?" She asks, making her way towards the tables.

"A month ago, it was modernized with industrial touches here and there." I say. She turns back to look at me with a piercing gaze, though I'm pretty sure it wasn't intentional.

"Are you a high school student?"

"Why are you asking me so many questions?"

"You seemed lonely." She says as I give a questioning look. "I saw you from the balcony."

"Oh, um...thanks?" I say. This girl is really straightforward. "I've never seen you before, are you a tourist? I ask because-"

"-you have the same customers coming in regularly." She says finishing my sentence.

"Well uh, yeah, pretty much."

"Let's talk upstairs."

"O-okay."

Who is she? Why do I feel comfortable with this direct, full-of-surprises, edgy girl? For some reason, I get a feeling that she's read me like an open book. That she may understand me.

That's all for part one of this new imagine! I just realized how short this was. I'll make the next one longer. What do ya'll think about it so far? If you were wondering, Cafe The Bridge is an actual cafe in Seoul. <3

I posted a new imagine called "Not What I Seem" focused on Felix! The next one I'll update is part 3 of "Getaway" according to the poll but I'll most likely update my other story first. <3
