When the uncertainty of the future began haunting her mind.

I should be there...

I should be there to hold her and comfort her...

But...

I couldn't do anything about it.. She was one step ahead of me.

Ah it was so painful to see her crying..

This video would be the last VLIVE video of Violeta era. The promotion had ended yesterday with their last goodbye stage and this was their farewell video before all of them going into hiatus to prepare for the next comeback.

Their manager told them to gather in the small auditorium in the company building and take their own seat so that the VLIVE could be started.

I was late.

She's already sitting beside her.

There's nothing I could do since the VLIVE was starting. All I could do was to hope that there won't be any moments that could hurt my feelings.

"So Minjoo, now it's your turn to say something.."

When she was being asked for that, all the memories she had made so far with the members, with their beloved WIZONEs, and all the people who supported her and her group began flowing in her mind. She just couldn't stop herself from thinking about the time where they need to end this beautiful journey. It brought pain to her chest.

"I.. I.." Suddenly she felt like she lost her voice. Her tears were dangerously about to fall. 

Yujin who happened to be the lucky girl to sit beside Minjoo already knew what would happen next to the older girl, she decided to cheer for her, "Unnie, we're only ending this promotion.. we will still do a comeback" She comforted her while patting her shoulder.

"Right! It's not the ending.. yet." She muttered the last part and gladly nobody noticed. But not for a certain someone who kept watching her all this time. "It's just that I love this moment a lot, promoting with you guys to meet our WIZONEs means a lot to me and I can't help it but feel sad to be separated with our WIZONEs even just for a while.." she couldn't hold it any longer, her tears just rolled down freely.

She was crying and she looked back to hide her crying face but how I wish she would not to since it's just breaking my heart even more to see it and at the same time I couldn't be there to comfort her.

I hate this moment.

"I'm sorry for the sudden atmosphere, that I couldn't hold myself. But to continue, I wish all of us good luck for our next comeback. Let's all fighting and meet again soon!" Minjoo ended her speech with a sincere smile plastered on her face.

The VLIVE had ended and the girls returned to their respective apartments.

Minjoo still being all sad and gloomy with the farewell thingy, couldn't help but go straight to her shared room with Yujin, and gladly none was there inside.

She didn't bother to turn on the lamp and immediately went up to her bed.

The thoughts of separating with the girls soon, especially for a certain dear person were still haunting her so bad that tears were welling up again in her eyes.

"I hate this.. please go away and let me sleep peacefully" she desperately whined to herself hoping the negative thoughts would go away.

"Stupid me for thinking about it while I still have time to make more good memories.."

With her last words, she decided to try sleeping her bad thoughts away.

"Unnie, do you know where Minjoo is?" Chaewon who noticed the disappearance of the younger girl in the living room after their arrival from the company building asked Eunbi who was busy preparing for small night snacks for the girls to enjoy while doing a movie marathon.

"Mm not sure, but seems like she went to her room.. call her Chaewon, the movie is about to start"

"Alright" as Chaewon walked faster to Minjoo's shared room, she didn't know why but her heart was clenching hard and she was feeling worried all of a sudden.

Please it's not something related to what happened earlier..

As she twisted the doorknob and pushed the door slowly, she was greeted by the dark sight of the room.

Sleeping?

"Minjoo?"

No answer.

Chaewon decided to approach the latter on her bed.

When she was already 2 stairs up to Minjoo's bed, she was greeted by the younger girl whose back was facing her.

She gently put her palm on her arm, "Minjoo?"

When Minjoo knew Chaewon was already there, she turned around slowly.

It was a moment when she realized the younger girl was actually crying silently, without making a sound. Without making any movement.

It was like they're soulmates. Whenever Minjoo was feeling sad or happy, she would feel the same way too. It's probably one of the reasons why her heart was clenching hard and her stomach was doing a somersault earlier.

The view was breaking her heart. But what broke her heart even more, was the fact that she tried to keep it to herself alone and pretend like she was all fine with the situation.

"Minjoo...." Chaewon climbed up to sit near the latter.

Her tears were about to fall from her eyes when she heard Minjoo answered her with a shaky voice "U-unnie....."

Minjoo got up from her sleeping position and it just gave Chaewon a signal to pull the younger girl into her embrace.

Once Chaewon's hands were wrapped around her shoulders, Minjoo couldn't help but to cry more. It's like she felt that Chaewon knew her too well what was going on with her.

She's so going to miss this someday.

I'm so going to miss this moment someday.. miss her too.

These thoughts kept eating her alive whenever she was alone. Whenever she was being reminded again that in the end, she would be all alone again.

On the other hand, it's like the thoughts were being transferred to her, Chaewon couldn't help it either but to shed tears, "it's okay Minjoo.. I'm here.."

"These stupid thoughts whenever there's a goodbye or an ending, they always pass in my mind.."

"They just won't go away.."

Chaewon didn't know what to say because probably she's feeling the same way too. It was still an unanswered question that's probably haunting all of them, for their future after 2021. Will it remain the same? What will happen next to all of us?

"I don't really know how to kick those thoughts away, but one thing that I could do to help is that I'll be here, I'll be here to assure you that everything will be alright."

"You can always find me whenever you're feeling this way."

"Till the time comes, where we need to separate, always remember, that I'll always love you and remember you, and every moment we have shared while being a member of IZONE. Nothing to be worried about."

Hearing that made Minjoo became sadder than she already was. But she knew that Chaewon didn't want that either. If Chaewon could be her pillar despite all the same worries they had, then she needed to be her pillar too.

Minjoo nodded slowly. She leaned in closer in her embrace to feel all the warm the older girl was giving.

"Sleepy?" Chaewon asked as her right hand never stopped to brush the latter's hair.

"Mmm.." Minjoo hummed in response. Her eyelids were starting to get heavier.

Chaewon smiled sadly.

She decided to tuck Minjoo in. She was about to let go from the hug when Minjoo tightened her arms around the older girl's waist, "Sleep with me tonight unnie.." with her eyes closed.

It's also like Chaewon couldn't say no either.

"You love me that much huh?" Chaewon smiled.

"Yes, and now that you know.."

"No, I've known it all this time, the first time you stared at me back then during Produce48 before I went up to the stage."

"You noticed it.." now both of them were laying down met face to face with Minjoo smiling with her still-closed eyes.

"Haha of course it was so obvious." Chaewon brushed again some strands of hair from the latter's face. "Now sleep. You must be tired" she pulled the younger girl in her embrace.

"Don't let me go while I'm sleeping.." and slowly her breathing became steady.

"I won't unless you ask me to. Good night, Min-night." and Chaewon placed a small peck on her forehead.

"Yujin, where are those Kim girls? Call for your unnies, the movie is about to start."

"Yes Eunbi unnie.." she got up and walked to the direction of where her shared room was located. But when she reached the slightly opened door, she heard small conversations between the older girls. She knew better than to disturb.

She walked back to the living room only to be greeted by a questioning face of the leader why she only went back alone not with the other two.

"They must be tired unnie, Chaewon unnie is sleeping together with Minjoo unnie in our room."

Eunbi got the actual message from Yujin and let her worry passed after receiving a reassuring smile from the giant maknae. Eunbi already expected this would happen and despite all her worries for the younger girl, Minjoo, she knew there's always Chaewon came to the rescue. She could always count on her when it comes to Minjoo. 

"Alright come here you big puppy the film has begun." She patted the empty space beside her but then at the same time she opened her arms widely, welcoming the giant maknae to come into her embrace.

'I'm so going to miss these moments too someday..' Eunbi thought as her sad smile was slowly plastered on her face.

And this was inspired by their last VLIVE for ending the Violeta promotion. Minjoo was crying there got me emo :( anyway, I still don't fully know what Minjoo said when she was suddenly crying (poor myself who can only depend on Eng Subs lol) and I was planning to post this once there's an Eng Sub for that, but I couldn't just wait. So yeah, the story might be rushed.

And oh! I listened to Yiruma while writing this. Perhaps you want to get the same feeling while reading this? Hehe
