Jennie's POV

The day to perform at the SBS Gayo Daejun has arrived, my members and I had already taken a seat at our allocated positions. Infront of us was BTS, and Taehyung was just sitting infront of me. Behind us was EXO, and on our left was Twice, with Nayeon sitting just beside me

Throughout all the performances, I had been making small talks with Nayeon, the rest of my members and also with Taehyung. There was no way we could have spoken openly infront of the public as there might be rumours surfacing about us, so we had our occassional eye contact which was our way of 'talking'

He would turn back once in awhile and look at me in the eye, and I would do the same

Nayeon had caught Taehyung's and my conversation and she was giving me the fishy look

"Jennie are you two..." Nayeon whispered to me suspiciously

"What?? No we aren't together, we're just friends!" I whispered back

"Hmm, I see... just friends" She began nodding her head and smirking at me

Not long later, Blackpink was up to perform and I saw Taehyung and made eye contact with him. He gave me a smile of assurance to show me that I was doing well, and I smiled back at him

When we were done performing, BTS was up and they were the last to perform. While he was performing, it felt as if his gaze was fixed onto me whenever it wasn't his part, but I was busy talking with my members that I only looked at him once in awhile

He's so good at performing and he takes my breath away

As the perform ended, everyone gave them a standing ovation for the magnificent performance, and you could hear all the fan cheers just for BTS

After the event, backstage

The event has finally ended, I was walking and talking with Nayeon to catch up when Taehyung walked towards me without me noticing

"Oops, I think I should leave now, see you again Jennie!" Nayeon said while nodding towards Taehyung and leaving us alone

"Hey Jennie" Taehyung sheepishly said

"Hello Taehyung" I replied

We were walking slowly and talking and I apologised for the date we had recently. He kept telling me that it was alright, and what matters most was the Jisoo unnie was safe and sound

He is so sweet, now I feel even worse for cutting the date short

As we were laughing at the jokes Taehyung was making to make me feel better, I caught Jisoo unnie talking with someone from the corner of my eyes

She was smiling so widely, laughing so hard and it had been a long time since I saw her like that ever since I started spending more time with Taehyung

Who is she talking to for her to be this happy?

I looked to who she was talking to and saw her alone with a guy

Suho??

I stood there in my tracks, frozen in place. I had no idea Jisoo unnie and Suho were friends and this close

When did Jisoo unnie and Suho get so close??

"Earth to Jennie!" Taehyung waved his hand infront of my face to snap me back to reality

"Huh? Yes? You said something?" I looked at Taehyung in the eyes

"Yeah, I was talking for a long time to realise that you had suddenly stopped moving" He said jokingly

"Ahh, it was nothing, I thought I saw someone I know" I lied to him

"So Jennie, I know that today is Christmas but are you free tomorrow to celebrate Christmas with me?"

"I think I can, I'll let you know again when I'm back at the dorm"

"Okay sure"

With that, we both walked back to our respective changing rooms and headed home

In the car back to the dorm

"Jisoo unnie, is Suho and you close?" I questioned her

"Hmm, not really I guess? He just came up to me and started a conversation with me" Jisoo unnie said while looking out the windows

"Ohh..."

I felt my heart grow slightly lighter when I heard that they were not close

Why did I feel relieved?

"But he invited me out tomorrow" Jisoo unnie suddenly said

When the two younger girls in the car heard what Jisoo unnie said, they both went crazy and started interrogating her non-stop until we reached the dorm
