4 hours later, 11pm

Jennie's POV

The lift ride up to the dorm was suffocating

I was crying so hard that I could barely breathe and my vision was blocked from all the tears streaming down my face

My nose was blocked and the only way I could breathe was through my mouth

But opening my mouth to breathe also meant that all the sounds of crying will be heard

The lift came to a stop at the floor of the dorm

I cooled down and stopped crying, wiped my eyes one last time before getting out of the lift

As it was around 11pm, usually all of the members would be asleep by now as they are all early sleepers

Not wanting to disturb them and wake them up from their slumber, I slowly opened the door. But I knew that the main reason for not wanting to wake them up was because I did not want them to see my tear stained face and question me on what happened

Jennie you got to open the door really slowly and quietly... Do not kick onto anything or close the door loudly

I was reminding myself internally as I opened the door

Slowly but surely, I pushed the door shut

I took off my shoes and placed them inside the shoe cabinet and walked past the kitchen to get to my room

As I walked past the kitchen, I saw a figure standing up at the kitchen counter

The figure was pouring a glass of water and I immediately snapped my head to the opposite direction of where the figure was

"Jennie? Is that you?" Jisoo unnie inquired

"Mmm..." I responded weakly

"Did you cry?" She asked while placing the glass of water down and walked towards me

Shoot! Did she see my face in that split second?

"No I didn't" I lied and started walking away

"If you didn't cry, why are you walking away from me?"

"I just want to shower" I said as I started picking up my pace

She pulled my hand which made me stop in my tracks, causing me to turn around to face Jisoo unnie

Her eyes widen for a second before narrowing her eyes at me

"I thought you said you did not cry? Why are your eyes so puffy?" She asked worriedly and dragged me towards the couch

We took a seat beside each other and she faced me

"What happened? Did Taehyung break your heart? If he did I will break his face" Jisoo unnie started clenching her fist

"He didn't Unnie... It was the other way around..." I stated as tears started forming at the corner of my eyes

"What do you mean?" She asked and she seemed confused

"I... I don't really feel like talking about now Unnie..
