9am

Jisoo's POV

It is now 9am, which means that it was time for me to wake Jennie up from her sleep

I walked towards her room and opened her door

To my surprise, she was already awake as she had looked at me when I opened the door

I opened my mouth and was about to say 'Why are you awake so early' but Jennie had started talking

"Unnie... I think I..." Jennie was mumbling and I could not catch what she had just said

"What did you say again?" I asked her with a look of confusion plastered on my face

"No it was nothing, I was just talking to myself" She smiled at me and started using her phone

"Oh ok" I left the room and went to make breakfast

As I was cooking breakfast halfway, Jennie came out of the room and went to the washroom to wash up

Just as breakfast was ready, she seemed to have timed herself well as she had just got out of the washroom

We both sat down and started eating

"So Jennie... Are you ok?" I asked her with my mouth full of scrambled eggs

"What do you mean?" She replied my question with another question

"You know... You were crying yesterday night when you came home"

I seemed to have made her realise something as she placed her fork down and started staring blankly on the plate of food

After some hesitation, she finally picked up her fork and replied me

"Mm, i'm ok" She said as she stuffed with some hotdogs

I nodded my head suspiciously

Something definitely happened last night for Jennie to be crying and for her to look this sad right now... Should I ask Taehyung about it?

I was thinking of the possible reasons for Jennie's crying last night when Jennie finally asked me a question

"Unnie are you free today? Do you want to hang out?"

"Oh... I'm sorry I can't... I already have a date planned with Suho today" I said apologetically

For a split second, I saw a flicker of sadness cross her gaze before she turned to smile at me again

"It's ok Unnie, enjoy your date!" Jennie said while trying to sound as happy as possible

"I'm busy today but let's hang out tomorrow together ok?" I tried to make up to her for being busy today

I took both of our empty plates and went to the sink to wash them up

"Jisoo unnie i'm curious but... You remember that talk we had before? Do you have a decision made?" Jennie asked me and I could feel her gaze burn into the back of my head even though I was back facing her

"Not yet, have you decided already?"

"I... think so..." She trailed off her sentence "But I need more time"

I nodded my head at and heard her heading back to her room

3hours later, 12pm

Suho picked me up at the front of the dorm and we made our way to the nearby shopping mall

We reached there around 30minutes later and met up with Chaeyoung and Lisa

"Jisoo unnie annyeong!" Chaelisa greeted in unison

After exchanging greetings we were looking for a place to have lunch

We entered a Korean restaurant and ordered our food

Within 1hour, we were done eating and we walked around the mall

"Oh Unnie I think that is good!" Lisa said and pointed towards a disco ball

Chaeyoung and I exchanged glances and slapped Lisa playfully on her back

Lisa dramatically winced in pain and pretended that she was severly injured

We decided to enter the shop with the disco ball to take a look

We bought some deflated balloons, a tank of helium gas, some decorations and made our way to the cashier

As we brought the basket up for the cashier to scan the items, we were all focused on the total amount

The last item was scanned and it costed around $20

We looked to see which item costed $20 and we saw something that shouldn't have been
