"Hit you with that Ddu-du Ddu-du Ddu!"

I danced and singed along as Blackpink is performing at the Melon Music Awards 2018

I had always been a huge fan of Blackpink ever since their debut and I consider myself a Blink

"Ya Taehyung! Why don't you take this award show as a chance to get Jennie's number?"

Jimin said while playfully nudging Taehyung as Jennie is rapping her part in the song

"I don't know... She doesn't seem like the type who would just give out her number so easily... Plus YG will never allow Blackpink to date anyone."

I said as I still had my eyes fixed onto the performance

"Just give it a shot, who knows, she might give you her number"

Jungkook added his input after hearing the conversation between Jimin and Taehyung

"Mmm... If I get a chance to talk to Jennie, I'll try asking for her number"

That was what I said but deep down in my heart, I hoped that this opportunity to get to speak to Jennie alone will never arrive as I'm worried of being rejected

After the end of MMA 2018:

I was walking backstage with my members and chatting with them until I caught sight of the girl that charmed me since 2016. She looked really good today with her hair tied up in a ponytail, and she managed to take my breath away as usual

"Now's your chance, it's now or never Taehyung!"

Jungkook shoved me forward, which helped me to gain some confidence

I quicken my pace to walk beside Jennie and took a deep breath before talking to her

"Erm, hi excuse me Jennie..."

She turned to look at me and I quickly averted my eyes, butterflies slowly started forming in my stomach

"If... if it's possible do you think I can have your number?"

As soon as I finished my sentence, I heard my members at the back whispering amongst themselves

"Sorry, I don't think I can give you my number..."

I looked down at the ground feeling disappointed, but I did not want to show it to her

"But, you can message me on Instagram"

Immediately, I felt myself on cloud nine, I knew that I wasn't rejected and that I had a chance to talk to her even though it was still through Instagram. I looked up and saw her gummy smile, which made my heart skip a beat

"Really? Ok I shall message you on Instagram then! Sorry for taking up your time and thank you!"

I quickly walked away and ran to catch up with my members who was way infront, smiling from ear to ear

Jennie's POV

Oh my god I can't believe Taehyung just asked for my number! There are so many more talented, good looking females out there but he chose to ask for my number!

I was a little surprised, shocked and happy when Taehyung came to ask me for my number. It wasn't that I didn't want to give him my number, but it was because our manager will take our phone once in awhile to check on our messages and call logs to make sure that we do not break the condition of not dating anyone
