Chapter 2

Jennie 

I think this is the most comfortable sleep I’ve ever have since….forever. I don’t even remember the time I slept this this much. Although my head is pounding (probably from the alcohol), the pillow, the bed, the blanket, everything seems really cozy right now. When did my bed got this cozy? And the familiar scent….smells like him. Hanbin.

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud ringing of my phone and I immediately answered it.

“JENNIE KIM!”
“Manager oppa, you are so loud?! Seriously it’s too early to nag?”
“Jennie where are you? I’m at your condo.”

She was puzzled by her manager’s words? I’m at my condo, what does he mean?

“What? Oppa I’m literally here at..” her words were cut off when shirtless Kim Hanbin entered the room.

She turned off the call while staring stupidly at him.

“Slept well?”

I may have the most stupid face reaction right now because Hanbin is literally laughing at me. I scanned the whole room and realized that I am at his apartment. I pulled the sheets to check if I’m or anything (just to be sure).

“I didn’t undress you or anything.” He held up his hands and for some strange reason I find it really funny. He must have too because he started laughing.

“Ya! We should’nt be laughing. This situation is not funny!” I tried to be serious but I ended up laughing anyway.

“You started laughing. You stop first jennie.”

“Okay.” I said as I tried not to smile.

“I cooked breakfast.” 

I rolled my eyes at him, remembering the times he cooked for me and the food .

“HEY! I can cook now, I changed in the past two years you know?”

I smiled bitterly at him as I am reminded by the fact that we are broken up two years ago.

“So breakfast?”

I nodded at him.

“But not till you put a shirt on.”

“You’re still the same, so bossy.”

I glared at him.

“Okay I’m gonna put a shirt on now, shall we?”

“Just give me a moment, I’ll just call my manager.”

He nodded as he sensed the serious atmosphere between us.

When he left the room I immediately dialed manager oppa’s number.

“Hello oppa? 

“Jennie where are you, you are in serious trouble right now kid!”

“Uhm, don’t worry I’ll get home later.”

“That’s not it. Have you checked the internet?”

I suddenly stood up from the bed, alarmed. 
“What do you mean by that oppa?”

I checked the internet.

“Actress and Model Jennie Kim, spotted hugging a young man at a club.”
“IT girl Jennie Kim and boyfriend spotted at the club.”

And there’s thousand more headlines about it.
I checked the site, and there’s picture of Hanbin and I hugging, must be the time I broke down. Luckily his face wasn’t shown. I sighed as I realize how big this is.

Ugh, why did I act like that last night? Am I not really okay? Haven’t I moved on already? This is so frustrating. And on top of it all, WHY IS HE BEING SO NICE?

Hanbin is now at the door, this time with a shirt on.

“So that breakfast?”

“There’s a dating scandal.”

He nodded as if he knows.

“I know. Now that breakfast?”

He is really strange. How is this not bothering him?

“What? How the are you calm?”

“Let’s just talk about it over breakfast okay? I really worked hard on cooking breakfast you know.”

He is now looking at me with his puppy eyes.
“Okay.”

I. Couldn’t. Resist. What. The. . Is. HE. Being. So. Cute. For.

He looked really proud with what he prepared. I smiled at that thought, well his cooking has now improved. 

I was about to take my third bite of the chicken when he spoke.

“I was the one who hugged you.”
“Yeah and..?”
“I feel like I should take responsibility.”

I waved my hand as if saying it’s okay, I’ll deal with it,
“Nah.”

He looked at me seriously.
“I’ll take responsibility anyway.”

“And how will you do that huh Kim Hanbin?”
“By dating you.”

And with that I choked on my food.
