Alone in her room, lying on her bed
Scattered clothes at any corner
Stack of books yearns to be finish
Wrappers of candies on her pillows

Coffee and ink stains on the bedsheets
Crumpled papers on the floor
Newspaper clippings on her table
Lipstick smudges on the mirror
Messy CD's at the foot of her bed

Her room is a mess like how her life is
It's been days she hasn't clean herself
She hasn't eaten for hours
Doesn't know where her life leads on

Flunk grades, splitting up of her family
A toxic relationship resulting to break-up
Friends leaving, broken trusts
She's numb, empty, void of emotions

She badly wants to clean up her mess,
Her room, herself yet she doesn't know
Where to start, she's in total darkness
Doesn't know where to hold on

She stared at the ceiling with her cold eyes
Got up from her bed, pick some papers
Tear it up miserably, threw it somewhere
She needs to clean up now

She hopes her life would be fix just like
How she fixes her room
