Hyukjae POV

"Hae, we are going to Japan, get your things ready. We're going at 12PM." I said, passing by him without even looking at him. He stops for a while and continued walking, releasing a heavy sigh. I'm so sorry Hae, I myself don't even know why I'm like this. Workers greeted me and I greeted back, as I was walking to the meeting room to discuss about stock drops in this month. I looked at Yubin's desk, and it was empty. She’s not at her spot too.

The meeting finally ends. All the main heads were making their way back to their office,while Park Il Woo, the Head of the Finance Department was waiting for me. "Has Soo Man informed you?" He asks as he sips his cup of coffee. I raised my eyebrows and closed my files, "What is it?" He puts his cup down onto the table, "You're going to Japan right? He informed me that you need to meet Mr Choi there." My face turned sour when I heard that name. Choi Siwon. The owner of Korea's second biggest company, Choi corporation, but they still manage to beat us every time. They’re our nemesis, our rival, and our defeater. I sit down on the sofa opposite Il Woo for a while and took a deep breath, "...Why do I need to meet him?" I asked.  "It's for a very important business. He told us that he is willing to share some tips to help us increase our stock orderings." I scoffed at what Il Woo said. 'Willing' my . He will mock me for life if I meet him and he will boasting about his company. "If you refuse, Mr Choi might ignore us the next time we need contact, because Soo Man has a debt with him. Please, Hyukjae. We need it to clear his debt." He continues. I sighed deeply. "Okay. I will meet him, mainly because I have no choice." I got up and held the door for him to exit the meeting room. "Thank you." I smiled as he walked off, "You’re welcome. I’d do anything for the success of our company."

"Hyuk, why are you avoiding me?" He had an anxious and desperate face. His hair flowed through the wind, following the wind's melody. His hands are trembling as well as those doe-like eyes. We both wore the same oversized coat as it is snowing in Japan and it’s very cold. We are at a train station, travelling to Nagano for some business. Some snowflakes fell on his hair as well as minel. I managed to gather some in my palms. "Hyuk?"  I tried to answer but my mouth wouldn’t move. I guess silence is better. He sighs and got into the train, leaving me alone. I'm trying to remember all the things that I was supposed to do in Japan as I watched snowflakes fall on the snow-covered ground.

I realised that it has been a week since I started ignoring him as the girl, was she called Jessica? She is always with him.

I don't even know why am I doing that.

Why am I avoiding him?

Am I stressed because of work?

Why am I feeling anxious?

Am I jealous? No way. I have a girlfriend. Who is pretty annoying to be honest.

Ignoring those thoughts, I went into the train. I need to focus on work. That’s the reason why you're here in Japan with Hae. '...Why did I add Hae to that?' I blushed and quickly took a seat next to him. He looked startled and diverted his gaze to the train's window. He looks like a cute but sad puppy that didn’t get his well-deserved pats all day.  'I'm sorry Hae. I'm not exactly avoiding you, I'm just, not in mood you know? I am stressed from work' I thought of something as an apology as I fiddle with my fingers. Donghae looks so sad...baby don't make me feel bad! I try to take Hae's hands and say sorry to him quick before he denies-

Ugh. Why must my phone ring at this time?! My hands were just about to reach Hae’s! "Oh, um, excuse me Hae..." He nodded and I got up. I took a last glance at him and he noticed. It's been a while since I saw that adorable red blushing face and hear that high pitched shriek when I . I wonder when this painful moment will go away. While swallowing the pain, I go to a quieter place and answered the call.

"Oppa, I need money!" Tsk. There she goes, asking me for money again. I rolled my eyes then raised my voice a bit, "Haven't I already gave it to you yesterday? What did you spend it on? When will you spend your own money, Yubin? Am I a money maker to you?!" People around me looked at me with confusion and annoyance in their faces, and then ignored me. My voice is too loud perhaps? Just mind your own business. I muttered "Sorry" to them, then continued my conversation with Yubin. Yubin started to yell 'please' and I stop her, as always she’s not listening to me. She whines as she asks again and again which really irritates me. "Hyuk, why are you being so mean...? You are my boyfriend, a boyfriend should help his girlfriend in any way~" she pulled up an innocent card to me and that is where I blew up. I hung up the phone and slipped it in my pocket.
