On the whole trip to the restaurant, Jessica is holding Taeyeon’s hand. Even when the older girl needs both of hand on the steer, when she rested one hand, Jessica immediately takes it into her

“It makes me remember about the episode when we back from Paris” said Taeyeon when they stop at the traffic light

“Maybe the feel is same” Jessica replied, “I mean, at that time I was so afraid if I don’t know you and you will leave me because of my past”

“Just my anxiety”

Taeyeon turned her head aside, her eyes full of question but the light is green so she needs to drive again

“Yes” Jessica nods, her eyes are looking to Taeyeon, “Anxiety and sleep disorder because of my past and Donghae made it worst”

I… umh…” Taeyeon grinned, “When we were at Paris, you look lost after met Yoona. Then, I found Zoloft on my aid drawer, in which I never purchased that”

“Promise. Taengoo is promising” Taeyeon grinned before leaned closer to pecks Jessica’s forehead, “Let’s go, Mother is here”

“Hello” Taeyeon went to hugs her mother in which Jessica following suit. The brunette smiled when Taeyeon’s mother pats her head affectionally

“I think this is our first-time meeting without other parties” said Mrs. Kim smiled to her step-daughter and her in law, “I guess you guys were from Taeyeon’s Mom”

“Yep” Taeyeon nods while looking at the table which already filled with food, “I took Jessica for the first time”

“Good then” Mrs. Kim smiled again, “I think Jessica is the second person that knew about your real mom”

“Mother…” Taeyeon hissed and tried to give the hint for not continuing the topic. Taeyeon knows Jessica will feel so sensitive about this topic, but her mother doesn’t get the hint though

“Who is the first, Taeyeon?” Jessica asked her fiancée who looks so helplessly

“You know her” Mrs. Kim chuckled, “Her ex”

“I just know Tiffany from her ex, Mother” said Jessica, calmly. But knowing Jessica for about 6 months, Taeyeon knows the younger girl is suppressing her anger

“Ah, I heard that girl is going MIA”

“Yes, Mother. The company was taking over her. We found her”

“Can we not talk about her?” Taeyeon interrupted, “I mean, I don’t really want to know about her since she’s betrayed Jessica, as her boss”

“Taeyeon is right” Mrs. Kim clasped her hands, “Let’s eat, you guys must be hungry”

Taeyeon takes Jessica’s hand and rubs it slowly, she’s smiling to her fiancée, for assuring that everything would be fine. Jessica just sighed before back to the meal and starting to devours them

“So Jessica, you must be known that Taeyeon isn’t my real child, also the story behind it” said Mrs. Kim after a while, “You must be worried about Taeyeon’s wound too”

“Yeah, Mother. I just curious why Taeyeon went home, bleeding, when she said she went to her family for dinner” Jessica wiped with napkin, “This girl won’t answer it” Jessica pointed at Taeyeon

“She won’t make you sad, Jessica”

Taeyeon smug, her mother truly sided to her

“But…” Mrs. Kim sighed, “Well, I hope it won’t happen again in the future. I mean, it’s enough for having two trouble makers at my house. Jessica, I think Taeyeon already said that the reason why I keep this marriage just because I won’t lose Jiwoong or Taeyeon. Both of them are my precious children, yet they never get along together”

“My brother used to bully me at elementary school” said Taeyeon casually while drinking her juice, “We often kicked each other face at the school and mother should came and apologize for our behavior”

“Both of you still like that” Mrs. Kim huffed, “You nearly chocked him to death last time”

“What did you do?” Jessica looking up at Taeyeon in horror

“We just… fought” Taeyeon scrubs her nape, “Well, we never get along”

“Moreover, Taeyeon is being the loveliest child in my big family. She’s smart, kind and pretty” Mrs. Kim praised her step-daughter

“That’s make Jiwoong envy to me” Taeyeon huffed

“But on serious note” Mrs. Kim looked at Jessica, “If there’s something wrong at Jiwoong and my husband, do not hesitate to tell me”

“Yes, Mother”

Taeyeon drifted her eyes to the passenger seat when Jessica just looking away, refused to look at Taeyeon. Different with before when Jessica held Taeyeon’s hand all the way, she ignored Taeyeon for now. Taeyeon tried to find the way for getting Jessica smile to her when she sees a carnival near the place

“Do you want to go to carnival? It seems great” Taeyeon pointed the carnival on her right side

Taeyeon takes Jessica’s hand when they are entering the gate. It’s already late so the carnival isn’t crowded. Jessica just looked up at Taeyeon’s face when the older girl intertwined their hands together

“Baby girl….” Taeyeon called Jessica, “I’m so sorry”
