Mina was brought out of her daze by her phone ringing. Jeongyeon

'I was so into my own thoughts I didn't realize the time' Chaeyoung thought

(An estate near Han River)

The 4 officers were now inside to a rich man's house. A lead had told them the thieves would be here, they're now standing outside the most valuable room of the house sicne that's where the thieves are most likely to strike. They've been standing there for half an hour now and have since started making small talk

"Why did it have to be here" Mina sighed

"What's wrong with being here?" Sana questioned.

"Cause she had a little 'date' around here at the Han river earlier" Nayeon said sarcastically.

"With who" Momo said.

"C-chaeyoung" Mina mumbled

"That cute girl from the cafe that keeps staring at you?" Sana squealed, earning a small nod from Mina

Their talk about Mina's date with Chaeyoung was interrupted by a pissed Nayeon.

"We have duty, so shut. We could miss something." Nayeon shrilled

"I don't see what she has against Chaeyoung"  Momo whispered.

"She's one of those theives and I know it. All the cafe workers are" Nayeon said.

"You can't just go around accusing pe-"

Their conversation was cut off by loud gunshots

~theives pov~

The thieves were on the rooftop of the house, about to break into the most valuable room in the house. Unbeknownst to them, the cops are on the other side of the door

"So, where were you today" Dahyun teased as she lockpicked the window

"My little bro had a date today" Jeongyeon said while ruffling Chaeyoung's hair as they snuck and landed in the room.

"Really, with who" Tzuyu asked

"M-mina unnie" Chaeyoung whispered, blushing through her mask

"You think you could get me a date with Sana" Dahyun said teasing Tzuyu knowing the latter had a soft spot for Sana.

BANG!!

"WHAT THE HELL TZUYU. I WAS ONLY JOKING!!" Dahyun yelled after she dogged the bullet Tzuyu just shot at her.

"Sorry, I was aiming for your leg" Tzuyu said sarcastically.

"Someone's jealous" Chaeyoung teased

"POLICE! PUT YOU'RE HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD " Nayeon said

"BREAK!!" Jeongyeon shouted as the 4 of them split

~Mina pov~

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!" I  shouted while running after the charcoal theif.

Suddenly the theif stopped, confusing me

"Why did the theif stop" I thought.

The theif turned around and started walking towards Mina.

"B-back up or I'll s-shoot you" Mina said nervously.

"Trust me, I won't hurt you" the theif said, reaching behind her back

I got nervous and thought she was reaching for her staff and I shot at her. I missed, partly because I have bad aim and because she moved out of the way. But the bullet scraped past her mask. It knocked her mask off and I saw her eyes. Those large brown eyes. The thief glared at me like a tiger and I stepped back in fear. She pulled out her staff and knocked me to the grown quicky. After knocking me down, she ran away after picking her mask up.

"Those eyes, look familar" I said to myself as I watched the theif run.
