(police HQ)

Today was a regular day, it's been a normal day at the station. The officers were extremely bored due to the lack of criminal activity, more specifically, phantom thief activity. The officers have been relieved of all duty since the formation of this phantom thief task force and were ordered to focus all their energy on catching the thieves. They've ran through all evidence and were now at a dead end. They're taking a break now to rest before continuing.

"Has anyone seen officer Myoui" BamBam asked as she walked into the cafeteria

"No Bam, why? You miss her?" Momo teased, knowig that BamBam likes Mina

"Today's her day off. She told us last week" Nayeon yawned out

"Yeah bu-" 

"OMG!!! MOMO IT'S 9 AM" Sana shouted, interrupting BamBam's sentence.

Momo immediately shot up and ran out the building with Sana. Nayeon looked at them without any amusement or mirth. BamBam looked at her with utter confusion and she just pursed her lips in annoyance at her group mates and shrugged.

"What was that about?" BamBam asked, confused

"We're going to Park Cafe down the street, the most probably suspects are there" Nayeon said unamused as she stood up slowly and followed them.

(Han river)

It was the sunset and Mina and Chaeyoung had spent the whole day together. They met at 11am and had since been awkwardly laughing and smiling at each other. Both liked each other but they were so oblivious to each others feelings. Despite Mina being the brains of her group and having a psychology minor, she was still blind to feelings of affection.

It took Mina a lunch, a date at the mall, a walk at the park, and a bike ride around Hand River to figure out that maybe Chaeyoung feels the same as she does about her. They were now sitting by a bench and watching the sunset and Mina, being the more courages one, asks Chaeyoung first.

"Chaeyoung" Mina said

"Yes unnie?" chaeyoung replied

"D-do you like me?" Mina stuttered

"Well would you look at the time. It's getting l-l-late, we-we should be going" Chaeyoung blushed, stuttering like crazy and trying to avoid the situation

"It's only 5:00pm Chaeng, and why are you avoiding the question?" Mina replied as she teasingly smirked at Chaeyoung, knowing that Chaeyoung's feelings re reciprocated

"Okay, d-do you want the tt-ruth" Chaeyoung said as she laid her head on Mina's shoulder, making Mina blush.

"Y-yeah" Mina said trying to hide her blush

"Well to be honest I-"

"Oh sorry, umm I have to take this if you don't mind" Chaeyoung said as she stood up.

"No, it's fine" Mina said mentally killing who ever ruined the moment.

I looked at the caller and saw that it was Jeongyeon unnie. Never in my 18 years of life have I hated anybody as much as now. I picked up the phone, answering with as kind a tone as I can muster because I know that if Jeongyeon unnie hears an attitude from me, she'll scold me later and maybe punish me.

C: "Hello"
J: "Chae, come now"
C: "Why~" 
J: "We have a mission"
C: "But I'm on a date with Mina unnie~"
J: "Cut the crap and come now" 
C: "But I really am~"
J: "I don't care. Here. Now
C: "Fine, I'll be there in 10

"She was going to tell me if she liked me or not" Mina said to herself slightly angry.

~mina pov~

I looked at the caller and it was Jisoo, I got the pout off my face and answered.

M: "Hello"
J: "Mina come down to the station right now"
M: "Why, I'm on a date with chaeyoung"
J: "You mean Chaeyoung from the cafe"
M: "Duh, who else would I mean"
J: "Probably rosé"
M: "Come on Nayeon. You know I broke up with rose because I caught her cheating with Jennie"
J: "That's not the point though, the phantom theives are back so come to the station" M: "Okay"

"Um so I have to go, it an emergency" Chaeyoung said akwardly

"It's okay, I have to go to actually too" Mina said as she showed her gummy smile 

"S-so can I like have yo-your number?" Chaeyoung stuttered cutely 

"Sure" Mina said as she took out her phone.

"That's a cute case" Chaeyoung said as she looked at Mina's penguin case

"I could say the same about your case too" Mina said as she looked at Chaeyoungs tiger case.

"And... here" Mina said as she sent Chaeyoung a text

"Thank you unnie~" Chaeyoung smiled

"No problem. Also, I'd think we'd make a cute couple" Mina winked before leaving. Leaving a dumbfounded and madly blushing Chaeyoung standing there, squirming and squealing.
