Yerim had just started university and she was struggling. Her parents couldn’t send her money because she had two younger sisters who needed money for after school work. Yerim was currently using scholarships and working at a café and a bar near her apartment. She couldn’t possibly keep her grades up while working here and a bar, her scholarship was on the line. She couldn’t ask her parents for money either.

With a sigh, she came back to reality when she heard the door open. A petite, breathtaking woman walked in donned in a black velvet suit that hugged her in all the right places. The woman’s facial features looked as if they were out of a comic book, she was too beautiful. Yerim was frozen at the register at the sight. “Can I get a green tea, please?” the woman’s voice was velvety as Yerim was broken out of her trance. “C-can I get your name for the drink, ma’am?” The woman chuckled, “Joohyun.” Yerim was lost at how good the name sounded in her head. “I-it’ll be ready in a minute.”

Yerim was in a daze as she made the woman’s green tea, she felt her eyes on her. She didn’t know what to do. She attempted to be as professional as possible but found it almost impossible under the woman’s gaze. “H-here you go, Joohyun-ssi.” With that, she handed the woman her drink. Yerim watched as Joohyun walked out of the café with her drink. She finally could breathe again; she felt like she stopped breathing as soon as she saw her.

The rest of the week went on like a blur for Yerim. She had to study and work, barely any time to sleep or rest. She was at her shift at the bar, filling in for Sooyoung. Yerim sighed, it was a slow night. She was refilling the beer when she noticed a woman at the edge of the bar. Upon looking closer, it was the same woman from the café. Yerim bit her lip as she walked over to her, “Can I get you something?” The woman sat with such force, she felt herself shrink. “A martini, shaken.” That voice sent shivers down Yerim’s spine.

Yerim went to go make her drink and felt the woman’s eyes boring into her. She shivered at the realization. She quickly finished and brought over to the woman, “Why do you work here and the café?” Yerim was shocked at the woman’s words, “You remember me, Joohyun-ssi?” With a small smile, Joohyun nodded.

“Just call me, Joohyun-unnie.” She took a drink of her martini, eyes never leaving Yerim. “I need money for college, Joohyun-unnie. I have to work to survive.” Yerim said with a sigh. Joohyun’s eyes were fixated on her. Yerim felt herself shrinking under her gaze.

“How about you come home with me tonight?” Joohyun’s voice was sultry and her eyes were dilated as she looked at the younger, “Some stress relief.” That smirk sent Yerim’s cheeks flushing as she felt herself starting to get aroused by the elder.

“I get off in an hour.” With that Joohyun smirked and sipped on her martini. Before Yerim could think straight she was in Joohyun’s apartment, she had never seen something so big. She didn’t have much time to observe her surroundings because Joohyun had her pinned to the bed. That night Yerim was sent into bliss multiple times. Joohyun had made her feel things she had never felt before.

Yerim awoke wrapped in suede sheets alone. She sat up slowly and flushed as she remembered the events that occurred last night. Slowly she looked down to her body and saw all the remnants of Joohyun on her body. Purple blotches and bite marks showered her skin. “You’re up, babygirl?” That voice sent shivers down her spine as she looked up to meet Joohyun’s eyes. The elder girl was leaning on the doorframe with her arms crossed, smirking at Yerim. “Get dressed, I made breakfast.” With that Joohyun left her to get dressed.

Yerim slowly maneuvered her way to the kitchen to find Joohyun setting the table. “Sit and eat. I know you’re hungry.” Yerim couldn’t deny she was famished. She slid into a seat and waited for Joohyun to sit as well. The two ate in almost complete silence. Joohyun watched as the younger scarfed her food down, it earned a slight chuckle from the elder. Joohyun couldn’t deny she was attracted to the younger girl.

“Yerim, how about we make a deal? There’s an obvious attraction between the two of us. If you agree to accompany me, I’ll support you financially.” The grin on Joohyun’s face told Yerim that she was dead serious about this. The younger girl was frozen. She didn’t want to take advantage of Joohyun, but she did need the money and she wanted to be with the elder. “I’ll be with you, unnie.” Yerim said was a slight nod. She couldn’t help but feel a bit ashamed and embarrassed.

The two kept their agreement going on for months. Joohyun would buy and send things to her after she accompanied her. Sometimes they’d see movies and sometimes Joohyun would her into oblivion. The problem for Yerim was her growing feelings for Joohyun.

“Who is this gift from this time, Yerim? Is it that girlfriend you’ve never introduced us to?” Sooyoung’s voice brought her out of her trance. The box contained a necklace that Joohyun had gotten her, the two girls were bewildered at the site. The necklace had to cost a lot of money by the jewels it sported. Yerim blushed as she thought of Joohyun.

“When are you going to introduce us?” Sae-ron asked curiously, her voice cold. Yerim sighed, she didn’t know how to answer that. The trio was interrupted by a soft voice that Yerim knew like the back of her hand, “Yerim-ah, do you like your gift?” The trio turned their head to the owner of the voice, Sooyoung and Sae-ron gasped at the newcomer.

Yerim flushed as she gazed into Joohyun’s eyes, “Of course, unnie.” Her words came out as almost a mumble. Sooyoung jumped up, “Wait, this is your girlfriend? Impossible. How did you ever meet the CEO of Bae Enterprise?” Yerim was confused. Bae Enterprise? Isn’t that the biggest company in Seoul? Wait… Suddenly all the dots were coming together. Yerim felt dumb for not noticing sooner. Joohyun seemed to catch onto her distress, “Yes, I am. Yerim and I have been seeing each other for a while. And you are?”

“They’re my friends, unnie.” Yerim mumbled softly as she reached for Joohyun’s hand, squeezing it. Joohyun seemed to understand what she was trying to convey through body language.” It’s nice to meet you the two of you, I was just picking up Yerim. Are you ready, dear?” Yerim grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the café. “Let’s go to your apartment, unnie.”

Joohyun sighed, she knew the younger would find out sometime. They arrived at her apartment in no time with Yerim dragging her. “Why didn’t you tell me who you were, unnie? Am I your girlfriend? I can’t hold these feelings too much longer. I don’t want to be someone who you and leave.” Yerim’s eyes were filled with tears as she looked at the elder.

The elder lurched forward, capturing Yerim’s lips. “I did not want to tell you because I didn’t think it mattered. Are you okay being with me? I’m almost ten years older than you. An old lady who has defiled you.” Yeri froze at this, how could Joohyun think she was too old for her? Without a second thought, she wrapped her arms around Joohyun’s neck, pulling her in for another kiss. “Unnie, I’ve wanted you since I met you.”

Without a second thought, Joohyun pinned the girl to the door and went to work. Yerim was seeing stars as Joohyun made her over and over again. By the end of the night, they had made their way into Joohyun’s bed. Yerim’s head was on Joohyun’s chest as she snuggled into her. Joohyun’s arms were secured tightly around the younger as they dreamt.

Four years later, they were still going strong. Yerim had graduated and started working as a teacher at an elementary school. Almost two months after they became official, Joohyun wanted her to move in with her. Yerim gratefully accepted the offer. The only downside was that Joohyun was insatiable at times. Yerim had trouble studying because Joohyun wouldn’t leave her alone and of course, she couldn’t help but give in to her.

Joohyun met Yerim’s parents much to her dismay. It was about a year after they got together, Yerim’s parents came over to their shared apartment. At first, her parents were unsure of Joohyun because of the , but Joohyun charmed them by the end of the night. Yerim’s sisters had fallen for Joohyun as soon as they saw her. Yerim hated sharing her with them.

Joohyun’s family was all for her settling down. The didn’t mean much to them. The Bae’s were all youthful in appearance and reminded Yerim of Joohyun. They even doted on her like Joohyun does.

The question of marriage never crossed Yerim’s mind. She was still in her early twenties, but she was head over heels for Joohyun. One night they were attending a party to celebrate Joohyun’s business success. All their friends and family were there. The night went by normally, she talked with everyone there as Joohyun talked business with a few of her business partners. Yerim was sipping on a glass of wine when the lights dimmed. Joohyun was there in front of her, kneeling down. Time slowed for Yerim.

“Yerim, will you marry me?” Joohyun was looking up at her with so much love and affection, she could have passed out. Yerim was overwhelmed, tears started to fall as she nodded her head vigorously. Joohyun grinned as she stood up and took Yerim’s hand, placing the ring on her finger. Seconds later, Joohyun’s hands were on her cheeks, wiping away the teats, “Sh, don’t cry babygirl.” Yerim smiled and slapped her lightly before pulling her into a hug. Their lips met and Yerim swore meeting Joohyun was the best thing that had ever happened to her.
