They were in the practice room, going over their routine. Suddenly, Kris tripped and fell. All the members started to laugh at him. Kris bit his lip, embarrassed. 

    "He can't even dance." Said someone. 

    "He has no talent at all."

    "How did he even get into Exo."

    Turning away from the cruel whispers, Kris ran outside. He took out his phone and dialed his mother, hoping that talking to her would cheer him up.

    "Mom?" He asked softly, as she answered. 

    "Son, you have disappointed me."

    Kris' heart sank. Tears formed in his eyes. 

    "Mommy..."

    "You are a failure, I'm ashamed to call you my son.."

    Kris' tears flowed freely as he sobbed. "Mommy..."

"Gege, Gege wake up," a different voice was saying, gently slapping his cheek. "It's just a dream gege..."

Kris opened his eyes to a dark room, where Tao was sitting next to him on the bed. 

"You had a bad dream gege. Your fever is very high. Should I call Suho hyung?"

Kris groaned and buried his head in the pillow. His headache had gotten worse and his body felt even weaker than before. 

"I'm fine Tao. Just leave me alone."

Tao fidgeted uncomfortably. "Gege?"

"What?"

"I want to take a shower."

"Then go ahead."

"But it's 2 am. I'm scared to go alone."
