Slowly, Kris sneaked into the practice room where Exo M was going over their choreography. Exo K was taking a small break in the opposite room. Chanyeol and Baekhyun ditched their disguises and hurried into the join the rest of the K members. 

    "Where have you guys been?" Asked Suho. "I've been looking all over for you two!"

    "We got lost," said Chanyeol and Baekhyun together. 

    Suho handed them a bottle of water. "After they finish, it's our turn to practice."

    "It must be strange for them to do the choreography without Kris," said D.O.

    Chanyeol and Baekhyun exchanged nervous glances.

    "Kris?" Asked Luhan with surprise as the tall leader took his place in the choreography. 

    Kris grunted in response. "Yes that is me."

    "I mean why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be in hospital?"

    "I'm better now so they released me," said Kris smoothly.

    "That's great gege!" Cried Tao happily. 

    Fighting the increasing pain in his body, Kris gave a dry smile and threw himself into practicing hard.

    Before they knew it, it was time to perform. Exo M and K reunited backstage, ready to face the crown. Immediately, there was a gasp from Suho.

    "Kris, what are you doing here?"

    "I feel better Suho," lied Kris. 

    Forcefully, Suho pressed a hand against Kris' forehead. 

    "!" Hissed Suho as he felt the heat radiating off of Wu Yifan. "Kris you are not ok. You cannot perform."

    "He doesn't have a choice," said the manager, who was hovering close by. 

    Suho grit his teeth. "You need to stop pushing my members. I won't stand for this. Kris is very sick and he needs to rest."

    The manager's cold look didn't change. "Members get into positions. We start filming in ten seconds..."

    And before they knew it, they were standing in front of a large adoring crowd, ready to perform.

    Suho gave Kris one last worried look and patted his shoulder before getting into his position in the tree for "wolf."

    Kris was not doing well. All the members could tell. His movements were sloppy, awkward,and painful. He was breathing heavily, and wasn't even making an effort to lip sync. The other members covered for him as best they could, moving in front of him to shield their weakened leader from the cameras. 

    Suho's heart twisted as he heard pained whimpers coming from the usually stoic leader as the song was ending. Kai, who was standing closest to Kris gasped as he felt the intense heat radiating from the taller member. 

    "Kris hyung, you're like an oven!" He whispered after the song ended.
