jungkook grinned at sooyoung's look of disgust.

"sorry but just because you're engaged to taehyung, i'm not gonna call you differently."

"well you should." she said with an eye roll as she took a seat.

"what do you require of me, miss park?"

"well for starters, my parents have caught wind of some bull rumor that taehyung has a love child."

"ah..."

jungkook felt the familiar headache he'd been having the past two weeks or so start creeping up again.

"you can rest assured that's not the case." he said with a tight grin.

"oh goody guess i can just tell them that then." she grinned back with full sarcasm.

"i know its a difficult position." he sighed.

"so figure something out. i need absolute proof of it otherwise they want to call off the whole engagement." she frowned.

"you almost seem sad." he scoffed.

"why wouldn't i be? taehyung's a nice guy and he's got money. it would be a loss if i lost him, not to mention a pity."

taehyung's eyes scanned over the room before pointing at her and the room fell silent.

"what did you say?"

"w-well i just...i mean we aren't exactly the most female friendly app..."

he scoffed, standing up from his chair.

"this meeting is over." he concluded, walking out of the room.

he sighed as he picked up the ringing phone on his desk.

"hello mr.kim, this is jinah calling from sbs, i am reaching out because an insider has revealed to us that mr kim taehyung has a child, do you care to make a comment?"

jin laughed through gritted teeth.

"that is quite the story, i assure you it is just baseless gossip."
