JISOO's POV

As soon as I got home, father and mother simultaneously asked questions about what happened earlier

"Yah Jisoo what happened to you? You look like a mess!" Mom asked first

"Are you bullied there?"

"Do you have some enemies?"

"What were you even doing?"

"Who brought you home?"

"Are you ok already?"

"What about your missed activities and quizes?"

"Mother father, I'm alright ok? It's not serious I was exploring a park then I just sprained my ankle. Jennie was the one who helped me and brought me here. I don't have any enemies and no one bullies me alright? Also, Jennie said she'll help me catch up" I answered every single question they asked earlier and they calmed down a little bit but they are in shock

"Jennie treated that sprain of yours and brought you here?" They asked again and I just nodded

"Yes she did"

"I see that's good then. Seems like she finally came back to her senses..." Mom mumbled 

Wait

Does she think that....

"Mom she's...."

"I know sweetie I know. Just rest your foot there while I'll get some ice" Mom cut me off before I can even finish what I'm saying

While waiting for mom, I thought about Jennie. 

I thought about the way she acted with Haru and her mother, how she was so sweet to the little girl and the way she respects her mother

It just seemed magical

My phone rang which interrupted my thoughts. I checked what was it about and it's just a text message from her 

'Hey its Jennie idiot. I just want to let you know I'll visit later with your missed activities then I'll leave immediately' - Jennie

Wait

How did she even know my number when I didn't even give my number to her yet? The heck?

'Yah how the heck did you know my number when I didn't even give it to you yet? You're really a crazy stalker huh?'

'Idiot you're really thinking I'm chasing after you after what I did earlier huh? In your ing dreams you should be even thankful to me I only help people once in a lifetime' - Jennie

'Then how the heck did you know my number then?'

'Idiot I got it from Chaeyoung duh isn't it obvious? You're really such an idiot' - Jennie

Ahh yes of course she got it from Chaeyoung why didn't I think of that?

'Shush already you're in class you should be listening'

'Idiot I'm not in school. I'm at McDonalds eating with Haru' - Jennie

"Someone's smiling" Dad smirked and then did his eyebrow teasing move

"It's just Jennie" 

"Reallyy???" My dad asked in a teasing way

I hate him why is he like this?

"Yes it's just Jennie"

"Honey go to your room I'll just bring the ice there later" Mom yelled from the kitchen and I immediately did what she said

I went to my room and lied down on my bed thinking of the events that just happened a while ago

Seeing Jennie being the sweet and caring sister inside that cold, arrogant and rude appearance, it's just something amazing, something spectacular

It reminded me of how me and my sister was when I was Haru's age. Yes she might look like a spoiled brat but she's actually a very caring sister to me just like how Jennie is to Haru

I slept afterwards since there's not much to do anymore and I'm tired because of what happened earlier but before I closed my eyes, I checked my phone to see if there's any more messages

'Anyways just sleep for now Jisoo I know you're drained don't worry about your missed activities besides I'll help you with it trust me'

After that, my eyes automatically closed and I slept without having problems or worries

JENNIE's POV

Jisoo is really such an idiot I swear. She knew me and Chaeyoung are close but she never thought that I got her number from her

I switched back my attention from my phone to Hary

"Haru are you already full? Do you want to eat more?" I asked Haru who's mouth is filled with gravy and is still eating her chicken cutely

"Nope I'm already full unnie! Let's go home!" Haru said happily while she plays with her McDonald toy. I smiled and carried her as we walked out of the restaurant

"Unnie look a pet store! Let's go there!" Haru pointed at the Pet store across the street. 

"Alright Haru we'll go there and then let's go home so you can rest ok?" I told her and she happily nodded as we walked towards the pet store

I may be spoiling her but she's just hard to resist especially if she's this cute

What did I do to deserve this kid

"Unnie look the doggy!" Haru pointed to the bear looking dog. 

"I want to adopt her unnie!" Haru exclaimed as she sat down and the dog's head. 

"Alright Haru we'll get the dog. Stay here and take care of the dog for a while alright? I'll just go and talk with the cashier" I instructed Haru and she just nodded and started to play with the dog. 

She's the cutest thing in the world

I smiled and then went to the counter to pay for the dog and the food since the breed is just Pomeranian and it's a small and calm dog so I don't have any problems with that

I brought the dog food at the backseat of my car first and then went back to the pet store to pick up Haru

"Haru ah let's go home! We don't want eomma to worry again" I told her and she just nodded. I picked up the dog and carried it with my left hand while my right hand held Haru's tiny hand

We went in the car. Haru is at the back seat playing with the dog happily and lively. Seeing her this happy and lively just makes me emotional and sad but I only kept it in. I don't want Haru to see me sad because once she does, she'll be sad. I don't want to see her with a sad face, I wan't to see her happy

Because after all of this, it won't be the same anymore

She'll never be the same lively and happy Haru

Because one day

She'll be sitting at a hospital bed

Waiting for her time to run out
