They call Chanyeol the Wanderer, although he prefers the title Voyager, for he believes that the word points towards a purpose, a goal, and an intent. That very intent is what sends him on his far-flung journeys to different corners of the Universe, hopping from planet to planet in search for The One, who had been so cruelly stolen from him eons ago.

He used to live on a small planet, one that exists on the fringes of the Milky Way—small and unassuming, but glowing with a life of its own. Chanyeol called the planet his home for ages, although time is a fickle and malleable concept in outer space. He had a special friend—a beautiful white rose which he kept dutifully under a glass dome, watering it exactly three times a day while he recited elegant poetry to keep its petals fresh and youthful.

Chanyeol thought that the rose was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, even more beautiful than the birth of a new star, or that of brilliant solar flares that danced across the starlit horizon every other day. Chanyeol believed that his white rose was the fairest in the whole Universe.

But when He arrived unexpectedly one day, armed with nothing but bright smiles and carefree laughter, Chanyeol knew that he had been wrong.

Because Baekhyun was the most radiant soul he had ever met.

“You have a very beautiful rose,” Baekhyun had smiled kindly at him, crouching down to observe the flower.
