Summary/Warnings: Baekhyun thinks about why and how he had fallen in love with Chanyeol (A scene which never made the cut for OGAO)

 

 

“Why were you in love with him?”

 

Baekhyun’s entire body stiffened and he set down his cup of tea slowly. Sehun stared at him from across the table, eyes shining with genuine curiosity. Baekhyun felt his mouth go dry and his mind go blank.

 

Why was he in love with Park Chanyeol?

 

“You don’t have to answer me if you don’t want to. But I really am curious. He isn’t the type of person you would usually associate with, and I can’t understand your attraction to him. What made you fall in love with him?”

 

Baekhyun pondered the question silently. “Chanyeol is like a flame. The closer you get, the warmer it feels,” he replied. “Until you get burnt,” Baekhyun added with a dry chuckle. “Love is irrational, Sehun. I cannot answer your question, because I don’t know why either.”

Baekhyun remembered having a similar conversation with Chanyeol, back when they had just started dating.

Chapter 9: OMG I didn't realise I haven't read your drabbles yet 'o'
But let me just say how much I love these! Every one of these is so unique and heart touching. In different ways. Like the wolf one, omg I totally didn't expect that outcome, I thought Chanyeol might be the hunter since they started talking about it, but I wouldn't have thought Baekhyun would know it! That's a great twist in the story.
And while some are angsty, the others are just so sweet, like soulmates meeting again :')
Your writing is just so beautiful. Like the way you form sentences is so colourful and so heartfelt. So mesmerizing. Oh gosh this part that went something like this "You may be my mirror, but I'm yours as well. And therefore you hate me too. You hate me as much as you love me." wow that was just incredible! I'm just left speechless... I don't know what to say, but it definitely left a deep impression on me. Thank you sweet jiji for these wonderful drabbles, I loved them ❤❤❤
