I sighed, again. This is the nth time that I’ve been calling him today. I left a couple of voicemails for him and maybe a message or two, wanting to know how he is doing. But I never heard a reply from him. Just like before, it would take DAYS before he would respond and if he does, it would only contain a short message. There are times as well that he would pick up the phone, but we would talk for a bit then he needs to end the call. Well, he’s busy. And here I am. Sitting pathetically in the corner of the room, by myself, staring at my reflection in the mirror. 

‘ding’

I looked at my phone and saw there was a message. I opened it, hoping that it was him. Don't expect too much, Seulgi. It was from Joohyun unnie.

Seulgi-ah. Where are you? What time are you coming home? 

Unnie, I’m in the practice room. I think I’ll stay here for the rest of the night.

Are you sure?

Ne, unnie. I’ll be fine.
