She did not want to be here.

She saw the line moving, she paused fixing her watch and nearly ran into a blonde girl.

 She pulled a strand of her reddish-brown hair that framed her face. 

 Sara had an oval shaped face and blue eyes. She was half-japanese, half-korean. She was a half-breed. 

She didn't appreciate the envy of her high school classmates.

She was glad she was leaving in a few months. 

She looked up as the guards checked her band and walked in.

The december air was unforgiving but peaceful at times.
