CHAPTER TWO

The next day Haneul went to school, she was stopped by a tall man leans on her locker. She didn’t recognise the man because he’s wearing a sunglass in a school. ‘Really? Sunglass in school? He must be out of mind.’ Haneul rolls her eyes and poke the guy’s arm. The guy awakes by the sudden interruption. He combs his hair as he knew who the person that keeps on poking him is. “So, you finally came.” He looks at the girl who just stare at him and waits for her to respond but all he got is silence. “If you won’t speak, then I won’t move.” The girl pushes him away from her locker. Sehun is beyond surprise. ‘How can this girl be so rude?’ He furrowed his eyebrows and take off his sunglass. “How dare you pushed me?” Sehun grabs the girl arm and slammed her on the locker. Haneul is shock and widened her eyes and almost gasp when he saw who the guy is. ‘Him?!’ Everyone in the corner looks at the couple who caught their attention. “You dare to push me, girl? In front of everyone? Don’t you know who am I?” He growls as if he’s the prey, attacking the predator.

Haneul is utterly shock that she can’t form any words. She never gets into any troubles but this guy make her life completely change. “So you won’t say anything, huh?” Sehun yanks the girl and everyone in the hallway whispering amongst them. Haneul regrets for doing so because she doesn’t know how to protect herself anymore. Worse, her mom might ground her for doing something rude.

“Speak.”

Haneul stays silence while Sehun try to compose himself. She can hear his breathing clearly since they’re in a janitor room. Don’t know why Sehun did brings them there but there must be a reason beside Haneul being rude.

“I say speak.” Haneul stares at Sehun with nervousness and just swallows her saliva.

“I ask you to speak!” Sehun hits the janitor door and caused Haneul to flinch. So shock that makes Haneul nearly cry. Sehun sighs and leaned into Haneul, whispering to her.

“I just want you to talk to me.”

“Haneul, please.” Haneul is absolutely surprise because it’s been a long time but Sehun managed to memorise her name. Haneul breathes shakily and shook her head. It means no, I will not talk to you.

Sehun heart crushed and rest his head on her shoulder. “I beg you then I will let you go.” Sehun feels something tug at his sleeve. Haneul removes his arm that has been wrapped around her body and slowly push him. Sehun doesn’t know what Haneul is trying to do but then Haneul trying to unlock the door and Sehun grabs her hand. “I want to listen to your voice but it seems like you don’t want to do so.” Sehun unlock the door and let Haneul go back to her class. But before she could walk back to her class, she looks at Sehun. ‘What is wrong with him? A psycho?’ She shook and walk back to her class.

Lunch came with Sehun drags her to the school rooftop. “Here.” He gives the food to Haneul and she’s suspicious with Sehun’s act. Yesterday, he was a jerk and now he’s acting so nice. ‘There must be something.’ Haneul shook and gives the food back to Sehun and quickly run away from him, afraid that he might do something fool. Sehun is taken aback and throw the food on the floor. “!” He ruffled his hair and groaned. ‘I need to do something to make she knows who am I. How come she didn’t fall for what I did?’ He loosened his tie and stands at the veranda, thinking how will he takes the revenge.

Sehun bumps into someone and nearly cursed but cut it when he saw its Haneul. “Haneul.” He breathes and try to give the sweetest smile he can. He knows all girls will fall for that but because it’s Haneul so she only looks at him with her poker face on. ‘What does he wants now?’ She thought and brush him off. Sehun almost turns to a beast but then a hand taps his shoulder. “Sooyoung?” The girl smiles with her eyes and Sehun swears he try not to throw up. “You look furious. Are you okay?” Sehun closes his eyes and sighs. “I’m fine.” Before the girl could ask further, Sehun walks away.

Haneul is waiting for her mom to come and pick her at school in front of the school gate. She looks around to check whether her mom is arrive or not but then she saw a car stops right in front of her. She becomes more surprised when she saw the person who owns the car. The guy pulled her into the car but Haneul is so stubborn. The guy had no other choice but to carry her. ‘She won’t scream? It’s a relief then.’

“Shut up.” He hissed. “I’m just trying to help you.” Haneul squints her eyes and glare at him. ‘What kind of help?’ Haneul keeps on looking at Sehun until she heard Sehun coughs. Fake. “Stop staring at me will ya? I know I’m good looking but don’t worry, I’ll give you time to look at me.” He winks and that makes Haneul frown. ‘He’s definitely sick.’ Sehun asks his driver to the S Mall and suspicion won’t stop bothering her.

“You’re beautiful.” Sehun glances at Haneul to look at her reaction. Haneul remains silent and just stare at the scenery.

“I said you’re beautiful.” The girl hummed in reply and doesn’t even bother to look at him. “You are definitely the emotionless girl, right?” That question left unanswered. ‘I’m just too tired to answer.’

“Are you perhaps mute? Maybe I can give you some devices that can let me talk with you.” He smiles slyly. ‘He’s definitely a spoiled brat but he’s more beautiful than me.’ She can’t believe, for the first time in her life she admits that the opposite gender is beautiful than she is. But of course she doesn’t believe that this guy can be this nice unless he has other intention. ‘Brat. Mom gonna kills me if she knows that I’m late.’

They finally arrive at the said mall and is so surprised to see the mall. The last time she went to a mall was five months ago because her mom prohibited her to go outside often without any accompanying. Sehun holds her hand and Haneul frowns. ‘Why the heck he’s holding my hand?!’ They keep on walking until they reach at the electronic devices section. “Wha-“

“Give me this phone.” He said and shows two at the salesman. The man nods and brings the phones to Sehun. “You like this, right? So make sure you keep this and never lose it again. Arraseo?” He winks and all of sudden her heart feels something that she doesn’t know if this is right or not. She stares at Sehun longer and didn’t hear what the men are talking about. “What a nice boyfriend you are, Mr Oh. She can’t stop staring at you, sir.” Sehun chuckles and look back at Haneul.

‘That’s right. Haneul will never stops looking at me and I will make sure she won’t regret her choice.’ He smirks slightly and pay off the phones that he bought.
