Jung Hoseok’s POV

Five, four, three, twoooooooo and one!

I turned around to face Jimin once the countdown ended. I was anticipating that he will give me a surprise since it is my birthday. But to my disappointment, he seemed to be forgotten about it and had already been transported to his Maryland. I hate you, Park Jimin!

“Jung Hoseok, happy birthday to you,” I whispered to myself before hearing another snore from Jimin. I rolled my eyes and cursed again, I hate you, Park Jimin!

Well, I would say living in a dorm had its perk. You could party all night whenever a member hit another ‘milestone’ in their life. And I couldn’t deny the fact that I was thrilled in just thinking about it. Anyone noticed the smile plastered on my face throughout the night?

“Good morning birthday boy!” Seokjin tapped the back of my head as soon as I walked into the kitchen.

“Hey birthday boy!” Namjoon brought me down with a deadlock and ruffled my hair before letting me free. I smiled at the both of them, “Thanks buddy!”

While one by one, Yoongi, Jungkook and Taehyung had greeted me with birthday wishes and also some unexpected birthday presents, there was only one person that was missing, and that was none other than Park Jimin, again.

Just when I was about to curse in my heart, he appeared right in front of me, speaking so fast that it sounded as if he was saying in a different language.

 “Okay we’ve to make it quick. They’ve been waiting for the update. Come, Hoseok, look here and do a birthday greeting selca to our fans.”

I was still in dazed when he had the phone focused on me. “Oh, c’mon, Hoseok, we’re running late!” And seconds later, he was out of my sight.

He just left me like that after stealing a selca of me? How could he be so cruel on my birthday? How could he ignore me? And why he did it on TODAY?
