Jung Hoseok’s POV

The loud music that was blasting through my eardrums sounded exactly to every nerves and muscle in my body.  Every single move I made seemed to be breaking every limit point I had. And yet I couldn’t stop, not until the clock ticked on three. Stealing another peek on my watch, God damn it, I still have another thirty minutes to go.

“Raise your level to another limit, Hoseok!”

When I thought I could slack a bit as our trainer turned his back to me, I was quickly caught in my act. “I’m sorry.” I muttered under my breath and pumped myself to finish the weighted sit-ups as ordered. It looks like there’s no escape for this hellish workout.

With one final blow of the whistle, I dropped down on the floor like the boneless squish, huffing and bluffing for oxygen. This is only the warming-up set, we still have two more sets to call it a day!  A shiver ran down my spine by just thinking of it.

While I was deep in my thoughts, everyone in the room had their attention on one particular person. And he was none other than my roommate, Park Jimin.

“Oh, c’mon Jimin, don’t be shy. You should be proud of your hard work!”

I rose up and stared at their direction.

“C’mon Jimin, it is not a bad thing after all.” Taehyung nudged him by the side with a mischievous grin.

My eyebrows were raised with each of them trying their best in cajoling him in showing off something, something so exceptional that thrilled and excite them. Curiosity soon had a better of me and my legs brought me to where they were. And unconsciously, I joined them in urging and pressing him.

“Just show it, Jimin. Be a man!” those words slipped out of my mouth like the running water from the broken pipe, without any censor, without any break.
