Yellow isn't quite my style
The day I'll come to you is the day you'll leave me
« That’s a… pretty basic neighborhood. I’m sorry why did you bring me here out of all places ? »
Jungkook laughs, sliding a little closer on Taehyung’s part of the public bench.
Three perfectly identical houses stand in front of them, not that big, not that small, pretty boring.
Jungkook sighs, staring at the one in the center.
« You’ll have a life. You’ll have someone. Children. A dog maybe. And a house just like that.
- Please. Mine will NOT have a yellow front door.
- Ok then. A house almost like that. And you’ll grow old. You’ll get wrinkles, a cane, you’ll have trouble going to the toilet-
- Ok I got you. »
Jungkook smiles.
« I guess I’m a little jealous.
- Of not being able to pee without hurting ?
- Of having a life.»
Taehyung looks at the boy sitting next to him, same exact age, completely different future.
« You can stay you know ? »
Taehyung lodges his right hand just next to Jungkook’s, the other pulling back straight away. Taehyung doesn’t mind this time as much as the others before. He’s closer to the other one than he has ever been. And that’s a good step forward.
« I come here when we talk only… you know, through the link. I look at this house and I imagine your life. I imagine mine…
Ours. » He says in a whisper, not fully being able to give up on his foolish dream yet.
« Ours ? » Taehyung squeaks, now sure he has heard it right for once.
Jungkook stares at Taehyung’s eyes, and nods.
« It would have been nice, growing old with you.
- Now boy, are you flirting again ? »
Jungkook chuckles.
« We can try.
- Come on. Even if i stayed, I probably wouldn’t even age.
- You don’t know that, maybe you will! »
Jungkook shakes his head, trying to stop Taehyun
