Jong Kook sat on the chair by Ji Hyo’s bed as he clasped her hands tightly. When Ji Hyo had fainted in his arms earlier, he had immediately stopped a taxi and admitted Ji Hyo into a hospital.

Seeing Ji Hyo’s teary eyes, Jong Kook wanted to explain himself. That he wasn’t supposed to meet the other lady. That he didn’t mean to hurt her. A week has passed since Ji Hyo was discharged from the hospital. And it has been a week since Ji Hyo saw Jong Kook too. After settling her dischargement form and sending her home a week ago, he had left for America for an emergency meeting. Ji Hyo refused to admit it but, she misses him.

Ji Hyo was about to unlock the apartment door, when the door opens by itself, her husband standing in front of her.

“Hey,” he said bashfully. He was wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt but wow, he looks so fine. When Ji Hyo did nothing but stare at him as though he’s an alien, Jong Kook scratched his head and blushed. “Come in, I prepared dinner for us,” he said as he pulled Ji Hyo into their apartment.

As they went into the dining room, Ji Hyo could see that each dish served on the table was made with great effort, and all were garnish splendidly. “I hope you don’t mind western food, that’s the only one I can make,” Jong Kook explained as he guided her towards her seat, pulling the seat for Ji Hyo. Ji Hyo was nonetheless, bewildered by his sudden gentle actions.

Dinner was quiet, with the occasional “is it fine?” questions from Jong Kook. Ji Hyo was drinking water, when Jong Kook suddenly stood up, holding a bouquet of flower before walking to her side.

“I’m sorry, can I explain everything to you?” He suddenly asked.
