You're lying next to me.

Last night you couldn't sleep again because of your nightmares. You were so cute stumbling into my room, almost tumbling because you didn't see anything in the darkness.

You lifted the blanket, it was cold for the blink of an eye and then pleasantly warm because you lay down besides me.

You moved closer to snuggle against me.

I had nothing against you cuddling close to me.

The way you hold me, it felt like you were in fear you would fall back into your dream if you haven't got something to hold on.

I put my hands around you, drawing soothing circles onto your back.

You calmed down and moved even closer.

I sighed as you nuzzled your head into the crook of my neck.

That's how I ended up using you as my human pillow again. I had needed one anyway.

You having nightmares also has its good sides.

I wake up next to him.

I remember, last night I stepped into his room, pretending I had a nightmare.

I smile to myself.

Him being so clueless also has its good sides.

I turn around to glance at his sleeping figure only to catch you looking at me. Smiling.

“Is there something to smile at?”

“Yeah.”

“What is it?”

“Sounds strange maybe, but I figured out that I kinda like nightmares.”

“I like your nightmares, too.”
