Jessica stopped her car in front of the café to hangouts with her cousins on weekend. When she enter the café, she spotted her cousins, Yoona and Taeyeon at the corner and she skip towards them

“Hi guys” she take a sit on the empty chair

“Our late queen finally arrived” Yoona said sarcastically

Jessica glare deadly at Yoona then she pinch her arm “You shouldn’t say that to unnie”

Yoona giggle “Okay, I will collect my words” she act like she eating something in the air

“Have you guys order something?”

“Yes, we order our drink already” Taeyeon said

“Shall I call the waitress?” Jessica looking around then she saw a waitress walk towards them with the drinks that Yoona and Taeyeon ordered

“This is your drink ma’am” the waitress put the drink in front of the girls while smiling politely

“Thank you” Taeyeon and Yoona eyes sparkle

“Tiffany-ssi, this girl haven’t order anything yet” Taeyeon pointed her thumb at Jessica who zoning out

“Oh yes, may I take your order ma’am?” Tiffany asking Jessica

“Bubble tea for me” Jessica smile shyly

“Okay ma’am” Tiffany leaved to the kitchen

“Yah, how did you know her name?” Jessica looking at Taeyeon questioningly

“Aigooo, you don’t see her nametag?”

“She zoning out while staring at Tiffany, that’s why she don’t noticed it” Yoona teasingly said

“Excuse me ma’am, this is your drink”

“Thank you” Jessica said politely

“This is the bill” Tiffany gives the receipt to Jessica

“Alright” Jessica takes out her wallet and pay for the drink while Yoona and Taeyeon grin widely

“Thanks ma’am” Tiffany bow before she leaved the customers

“I can’t believe that you so whipped in front of the waitress” Taeyeon laughing

“We should come here often so unnie will pay for our foods” said Yoona while Jessica throwing glare at both of them

“Sica, is that love at first sight?” Taeyeon smile mischievously

“Quit teasing me you two. I will tell Wendy and Seohyun that both of you flirt with girls here” Jessica threatened

It was 8 PM when Jessica on her way back from office. When she passed by one of the bus stops, she spotted someone familiar sitting there with luggage and backpack. As she drive, she thinking where did she meet that person. She stop at traffic light and tapping the steering while recall back every places that she go past few week because she know she meet that girl recently

“Who is that girl?” Jessica talked to no one in particular. Suddenly she remembered something “Oh that is Tiffany” she snapped her finger

The light change to green and she turn her car back to go to the place. Luckily Tiffany is still there and she parked her car in front of the bus stop

“Hi” Jessica greet Tiffany

She noticed that Tiffany looked sad and her eyes slightly puffy

“Hi” Tiffany answered weakly

“Do you remember me?” Jessica sit beside Tiffany

Tiffany silent for few minutes “Sorry, I don’t remember”

“It’s okay but first time I saw you at the café nearby where you’re working” Jessica explained

“Oh sorry for that”

“It’s fine, where are you going?” Jessica pointed at the luggage

“I don’t know where I should go. I could say that I’m homeless now” Tiffany said sadly

“Are you run away from home?”

“No, I can’t afford to pay my house rent so the house owner not allow to stay there anymore”

“Aigooo, where do you sleep tonight?”

Tiffany shrugged her shoulder “I don’t know”

Jessica sighs “Let’s go to my house”

“No, I don’t want to trouble anyone”

“I insist, let me help you. I can’t let you sleep here. It’s dangerous especially you’re girl. Lot of things can happen to you” Jessica convince

Tiffany give in as she heard sincerity at Jessica words “Okay”

“Come, we should go now. It’s getting late” Jessica help Tiffany with her luggage

It was 20 minutes driving to Jessica house and both of them not talking to each other. Jessica know Tiffany mind is in a mess now so she decide to not bothering her with lot of questions

“Welcome to my house” Jessica lead Tiffany to living room

“You live alone here?” Tiffany amazed by the house design. It was really beautiful and she assumed that Jessica is really rich

“Yup, my parent stayed at mansion while my sister is abroad”

“The house is too big for single person” Tiffany compliment

“Big and lonely too” Jessica giggle “Let me show you your room” both of them walk upstairs “Here is your room”

“Wow” Tiffany awe by the room size and it’s 2 times bigger than her old place

“From now on, you will stay here and my room is right in front of yours. If you need anything, just tell me”

“You haven’t tell me your name”

“I am Jessica”

“I’m Tiffany”

“I know your name already” Jessica grin

Tiffany chuckled “Anyway, thanks Jessica because you let me stay here. I promise I will find new place soon”

“No Tiff, you can stay here as long as you want. I don’t mind that. Besides, no one is here with me so it’s not bad if you can be my housemate” Jessica said softly

“But I will trouble you”

“No, it’s fine. You’re not a burden for me. I’m happy that I have company here”

“Okay then”

“So you should take bath first then we have dinner”

“Okay”

Jessica take quick bath then she head to the kitchen to prepare simple dinner for both of them. Few minutes later, Tiffany come and she looked fresh

“Sorry I take too long to take bath”

Jessica grin “It fine. At least I can take time to prepare dinner for us”

“Anything I can help you?”

“You can set the table because the food is ready”

“Alright”

“Are you working tomorrow?” Jessica asked while eating her foods

“No, I quit from the café today”

Jessica nods her head “So you just stay at home because I need to go working tomorrow. Tomorrow is Friday so it still working day and I can’t accompany you at home”

“Don’t mind me. I will stay at home and probably cook for you” Tiffany said

“Wow, that’s good then. I will come home tomorrow for lunch. I hope I’m not busy”

Next morning, Jessica walk to the kitchen for breakfast before she go to office and she found Tiffany there busy preparing the food

“Hi good morning” Tiffany greet with smile

“Morning Tiff, I thought you not wake up yet”

“Have a sit” Tiffany said and give a glass of coffee to Jessica “I wake up early to make breakfast for you”

“Thanks and your coffee taste good” Jessica give compliment after take a sip

“Thanks; I made fried rice from the leftover last night” Tiffany scoop the rice to the plate and give to Jessica

“Smell so good, I can’t wait to taste it” Jessica almost drooling by smelling the aroma

“You should eat more so that you not hungry” Tiffany watching Jessica eating the food happily and she not expect Jessica is big eater judging from her slim figure

“You’re really good at cooking”

“Aishh, stop praising me”

“You deserve lot of compliments” both of them giggle

Tiffany also join Jessica breakfast while they talk about random gossips

“Tiff, I have to go now” Jessica said as she finished her drink “Thanks for the foods and I look forward for more foods from you”

Jessica get her wallet from her handbag and take out generous amount of notes to give to Tiffany “Here is your pocket money”

“No Jessi, I have my money. You don’t have to give me” Tiffany said awkwardly

“Tiff, just take it. Who know if you need money when I’m not around” Jessica pull Tiffany hand and put the money on her palm

“Alright, I will call you before lunch” Jessica light up the mood by smiling brightly

Jessica skips to Taeyeon office after she leave her stuff at her office. When she comes in, Taeyeon still busy with her phone

Jessica back from office early but she confused when she noticed that Tiffany is not around

“Tiff?” she check the kitchen but no one is there “Tiff, where are you?” suddenly she panic

“I put my phone on silent mode, I’m sorry” Tiffany lowered her head as she feel guilty “Sorry for troubling you. I promise I won’t do it again”

Jessica noticed that she’s too strict just now so suddenly she feel bad towards Tiffany “Tiff, I’m sorry. I don’t mean to scold you”

“No need to be sorry, I understand” Tiffany smile shortly “Now if you excuse me, I want to make dinner for us”

“Okay” Jessica answer absentmindedly

During dinner both of them just eating in silent, no one dare to talk. Jessica don’t know how to start the conversation as she think that Tiffany is upset and she’s not good at comforting someone

Inside her room, Jessica still thinks about what she should to make things right between them. Tiffany goes straight to her room after dinner and leaving Jessica alone at living room. As she is out of idea, she decided to call Taeyeon who is really expert in love. She makes video call to her cousin and it was answered after few second

“Hi cousin” Taeyeon greet happily from the other side

“Hi” Jessica answer lazily

“What make you call me suddenly?”

“I can’t call you anytime I want?” Jessica glare at Taeyeon

“You never make video call except when you have something serious to talk with me” Taeyeon state the matter-of-fact

Jessica give in because it useless to debate with Taeyeon about that topic “Okay, I have problem now. A really big one”

“Alright, what is it?”

“I guess I make Tiffany upset” Jessica confess

“Are you serious? Isn’t it so early to make her upset? I mean both if you just stay together but you do something that made her upset” Taeyeon face-palm herself

“I really don’t mean it Taeng. I don’t know that my words can affect her emotion. She don’t even talk to me until now”

“What is the situation?”

“She not telling me when she goes out and not answering my calls so I scold her”

“Aigooo, you know her current situation and scolding her is not the right choice. Maybe her emotion is not stable now plus you scolding her so it really devastating her” Taeyeon scratch her nape and she really know Jessica is well-known with her short-temper and coldness

“But I worry if she runs away”

“That’s why you should think positive. She not telling you maybe she worried if she disturbs you working. You should ask her first. You’re big girl now” Taeyeon said seriously while Jessica just listening to her. Only Taeyeon can calm her down since she respect the older girl more than anyone

“I’m sorry” Jessica said

“Apologize to her, not me. That was her who you mess with”

“I don’t know what I should do. You know I’m not good at comforting someone” Jessica pout

Taeyeon groan “Aigooo, are you never in a relationship before?”

“Talk to her softly. Bring out all tenderness in you. Don’t shout or whatever negative action that you always do”

“You have to be patience this time. She is in fragile state so if you do wrong move, you will break her more”

“Good, it’s hard to handle fragile woman. I go through it a lot since I date Wendy and it makes me learn how to handle the situation so I hope you will do too”

The question caught Jessica off guard “I can’t figure it out yet. It just like a day since I’m together with her”

“Yead, I act almost like that when I met Wendy and I really care about her. I also worry when I know that I make her upset and judging you, you never really care if you make someone upset. You not even think to apologize so it’s obvious that you have feeling towards her”

“Aigooo, am I that bad?”

“Literally” Taeyeon said straight forward

Jessica rub her face “Maybe I like her but not in romantic way yet. I know soon it will change too but I don’t want to rush things. I’d told you that this time when I date someone, I will date for marriage”

“Yes, I remember”

“I will take it slow and figure out my feeling for her. I don’t want any of us hurt. If we’re made for each other, sooner or later we will together”
