Jesse’s house

“Jesse, are you ok?” Taeyeon seat beside her husband who zoning out since God know when

“I’m ok, why?” Jesse smile to his wife

“I noticed you changed lately, I mean since this few months. Tell me what wrong”

“Nothing happen Tae, I just tired with work” Jesse rubbed his face

Taeyeon chuckle “Can you find the new excuse instead of using the old one that you always said to me?”

“Taeyeon-ah, I’m really serious telling you. I’m tired” Jesse said annoyingly

“You tired because your mind is not here, right? It flies somewhere even your soul sits beside me”

“What does that mean?” Jesse frown

Taeyeon sigh “You thinking about Tiffany, right? She leave to only God know where without telling you and her friends also don’t want to tell you anything”

“How-how do you know this?” Jesse puzzle

“Jesse Jung, I know you since we’re 19 years old and now we’re 29 so I know what inside your mind. Your good, your bad, up and down, everything I know and even deeper since we married so impossible this little thing I can’t figure out. You silly Jesse Jung” Taeyeon smack Jesse shoulder

“Is this why my parent want you to marry me?”

“I don’t know, I not ask them before we married. Really Jesse, why did you break up with her?”

“Do you really need to ask that?”

“I’m curious”

“I don’t want my future child know that I have other woman besides their mom”

“So it’s because I’m pregnant and you choose to leave her?”

“Yes”

“What if I’m not pregnant?”

“…”

“Oh come on Jesse, be decisive guy. You suppose to do everything with your heart and soul not forceful”

“No one force me to leave her” Jesse said nonchalantly

“Yes you are, you leave the woman who truly love you because of this child” Taeyeon pointed at her 5 months baby bump

“You want your child fatherless?”

“No way, my child will never fatherless even if you leave me for her” Taeyeon retort

“What do you mean?” Jesse furrow his eyebrows

“I don’t want to talk about it now. I’ll reveal the truth in our family gathering that I set this weekend”

“Whatever”

“Sleep now, it’s late. You’ll work tomorrow”

“Don’t need to tell me to sleep, I’m not kid anymore”

“SLEEP NOW” Taeyeon roar and Jesse walk to his room while mumbling “Stop cursing or anything that you mumble. You better not hard to wake tomorrow” Taeyeon said as she watching Jesse walk to the stair

“Pregnant woman so scary” Jesse mumbling

Taeyeon sit on the couch and grab her phone to text someone

‘I’ll reveal the truth tomorrow, I can’t bear it anymore. He’ll never fight for his life so I’ll fight for us. I’m sorry that I can’t wait for you to tell it to them. If they kick me out of family, I’ll follow you there. I prepared everything already. Hope for a better tomorrow. Good night, I miss you. Work hard, ok!’ - Xxx

That weekend

“Taeyeon-ah, why did you suddenly gather us here? Is there any good news about our grandchild?” Mrs. Jung asked excitedly. Mr. Jung, Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim also there with them

“Umma, appa I have something to tell you all but wait for Jesse for a while”

“Where is your husband?” asked Mr. Jung since he don’t see his son ever since they arrived

“He still upstairs”

Few minutes later, Jesse come from his room and joined them

“Umma, appa actually what I want to say is really important and whatever you all think or how you judge me, I don’t mind. I also accept any reaction from all of you because this time I don’t want to pretend anymore and I don’t want to act”

“What is it Taeyeonie?” Mrs. Kim said softly

“To be honest, the baby that I carry now is not belong to Jesse” Taeyeon stated

“Are you serious Kim Taeyeon?” Mr. Kim asked

“Yes appa, I’m serious. This child is not Jesse’s” Taeyeon said confidently and stare directly to her father eyes

“Who is that father?” Mrs. Kim asked, slightly angry

“Soojung”

“What?!” everyone asked with disbelieve face

“Soojung as in Jung Soojung?” asked Mrs. Jung

“Yes umma. I pregnant Soojung child”

“How-how can?” Mr. Jung dazed

“Soojung is my boyfriend since back then and we still in relationship until now”

“Jesse, do you know about this?” Mr. Jung asked his son with stern voice

“I don’t know” Jesse glare at his wife and his eyes full of anger. Taeyeon feel his gaze but she ignore it since she get ready for everything

“Are you sure or you try to cover it?”

“He doesn’t know. He really doesn’t know about this. It’s only me and Soojung who know it” Taeyeon said without waiting for Jesse respond

“So, what both of you decide now?” asked Mr. Kim

“We’ll talk personally but we’ll not last forever. Don’t give expectation to our marriage because I’ll get back what is mine, no matter what. This child belong to Soojung so he responsible to us”

“What if he not accepts your child?” Mrs. Kim asked

“Don’t worry umma, he’s responsible to me and our child” Taeyeon tapped her phone screen “Listen to this” she said and put her phone on the table

“Hello everyone, this is Jung Soojung. I know right now Taeyeon spill out everything about us and you all must be informed about my future child that Taeyeon carry right now. First of all, I’m sorry hyung because I betrayed you. I’m not a good brother as you expect but Taeyeon is mine since before and I love her so much. I want to against your marriage with her but she stops me because she wants you to fight for your own life. However it turns out you not doing anything even until now. Sorry mom, dad I disappoint both of you and also Mr. and Mrs. Kim. Don’t hate Taeyeon and the baby, I plead. If you all don’t want to take care of them there, send them to me. I always wait for them to return to my arms. That all for now, we’ll talk more when I return home 2 months from now. I’ll return for good because I want to be the first person my child sees as they open their eyes. Again, I’m sorry for everything” everyone silent as they listen to the audio

“Is that really Soojung?” Mrs. Jung asked

“Yes umma, he send it few hours ago and now everyone know that who’s the real father of my child

“Aigoo, it so complicated” Mr. Jung said

After their parent return home, Taeyeon go back to her room. She sit on the bed edge while caressing her stomach

“Baby, now everyone knew who your daddy is. Mommy hopes they don’t hate us. Daddy will return home in 2 months and he excited to see you. Mommy misses him so much and mommy hoped everything goes well for 3 of us. Don’t hate papa Jesse if he not treat you nicely one day, maybe he still mad at mommy and daddy but mommy know he’ll accept the fact slowly. Papa Jesse is good man but he’s not for us. He’s for Mama Tiffany. Let pray so that they meet again quickly because mommy feel something weird at papa lately. Mommy want to sleep now and mommy can’t wait to see you” Taeyeon smile as her talk to her baby bump

“Taeyeon, I want to talk to you” Jesse said dryly after they finish breakfast. He leaved to living room while Taeyeon clean their dishes

“What you want to talk about?” Taeyeon sit on the couch

“Why you not tell me that is not my child?”

“How come you can’t figure it out?”

“I ask you don’t ask me back” Jesse said

“It more likes statement than question”

“Tell me why Taeyeon-ah” Jesse sigh

“Look, you never touch me since we married and we not sleep in same room. How did you so quick saying that I pregnant your child. I can’t believe that you never feel weird when I said I’m pregnant because we never consummate. Why you not suspect anything? You happy when you know I’m pregnant while I’m not sure what I feel because the child that I carry is not yours”

“If you tell me early, thing will not end like this” Jesse pulled his hair

“You mean you break with Tiffany?”

“Yes”

“It was because of you”

Jesse quickly looks at Taeyeon with puzzle face “Me?”

“Yes, you never try to fight for the person you love. You absentmindedly agree when your parents ask you to marry me even you madly in love with Tiffany. You said she bring you to meet her family but what about you? Did your family know her? Never, right? I know you afraid that your parent will mad if you against this marriage and tell them that you love Tiffany but did you ever try it before? Tiffany suffer because of you, she suffer a lot. Even I never meet her close but I can’t feel it. We’re women after all. You want to be a good son for your mom and dad. You obey to them, whatever they said you just ok with it but you not see the effect to people around you. Our marriage not just hurt your girlfriend; Soojung also hurt as well that why he chose to work abroad instead of return here after finish his study. Change Jesse, be mature. Lead your own life; don’t let other people make decision for you”

“I’m so useless, isn’t it?” Jesse chuckle

“You’re not if you change to a real man. You’re good person, a good friend I ever meet. Even we can’t together until the end but we still best friend, a family” Taeyeon smile and pat Jesse shoulder

“Do you mean that we’re over?”

“Yes, we’ll divorce. I need Soojung by my side now and I hope you’ll meet love of your life”

“I hope you’ll be happy. I know Soojung can make you happy, more than I am. Take care of your baby”

“Ok, you too take care and thanks for everything you did to me since we married. It was our precious memories since we meet each other. I’ll never forget it” Taeyeon said happily

“Em, are you staying here or you following Soojung to New York?”

“Not sure, I haven’t discuss with him”

“If you want to go to him, I can arrange everything for you. I can accompany you there”

“Yes, why not? Let make surprise for him”

“We’ll go after tomorrow”

“Sure thing”

“We need to settle our divorce tomorrow so after clear everything, we’ll go to your husband” both of them laugh

“Alright, Soojung must be happy to see you” Taeyeon said

“But he’s happiest if he seeing you suddenly appears in front of him”

“Yea, yea whatever”

“Oh yeah, about this house I give it to you and Soojung as early wedding gift”

“Why not buy new one?” Taeyeon giggle

“You want new house?”

“No, I just joke. I love this house so much”

“That’s good then”

“What about you? Where you’ll stay?”

“I’ll go back to mom and dad house”

“Ok”

Tiffany house at California

“Fany unieeeeee!!” Yoona squeal as she run to Tiffany when they arrive at her house. Yoona and Sooyoung along with their husbands go to California to visit Tiffany

“Aigoooo Yoongie, how are you?” Tiffany said happily

“I’m fine unnie, how was baby?” Yoona caressed Tiffany tummy

“Baby is ok, getting naughty inside” Tiffany chuckle

“Did you know the gender yet?”

“No, I want surprise”

“Hey Fany” Sooyoung jogged to them follow by Yuri and Juhyun

“Sooyoungie, how are you doing?” Tiffany said

“I’m fine, you?”

“I’m fine too”

“Hi noona” Juhyun and Yuri said

“Hi”

“Long time no see noona”

“Ayy Juhyunie, it just few months that we not meet each other” they laughed “Come inside” Tiffany lead her guest into her house

“Unnie, where is your family?” Yoona asked

“Dad working, my sister goes for groceries. She’s excited when I told her that you all will visit me”

“It been long time since we meet, no wonder she excited” said Sooyoung

“You’re 7 month pregnant now, right?” Yuri asked

“Yes, time flies so fast”

“We excited to see your baby” Sooyoung grin

“When will you two have baby?” Tiffany looking at Yoona and Sooyoung

“In process, God still creating”

“Don’t give up; you’ll have it one day”

“Ok” the younger girls show peace sign

“Em, I’ll go back to Korea next month” Tiffany stated

“Why?”

“Because I want to deliver my child there”

“Your family agreed with it?” asked Sooyoung

“First they not agree but seeing I really want to do it there so they give in”

“Who’ll take care of you if you deliver there?” Yoona asked

“Both of you don’t want to take care of me? Seriously?” Tiffany pout

“Unnie, of course we want to take care of you. It’s not a big problem” Yoona said quickly

“Yoong is right; we’ll take long holiday when you deliver. Don’t worry, count on us” Sooyoung added

Tiffany chuckled “I just joking, my sister and my cousin will go there with me. Dad also will join us”

“We can take care of you whenever you need us. Besides, we can learn how to take care of baby. It’s an advantage for us”

“Your husbands will allow you?”

“Ahh, they can wait”

“Yul, Juhyun, you heard that, right?” Tiffany said

“Yes noona, we’ll travel around the world when we get ignore”

“You can try if you want to sleep at garage” Yoona glare at her husband

“You don’t laugh, you also same” Sooyoung said and Yuri cover his mouth immediately

Tiffany and her friends spend time at living room after have dinner. Suddenly someone come and distract their conversation. A guy with tall figure, white skin, have killer smile and perfect body greet them. Yoona, Sooyoung and their husband are curious when they saw him because they never meet him before. The guy sits beside Tiffany and they look close to each other

“Guys, this is Lee Junho. He’s my cousin” Tiffany introduces her cousin to her friend

“Noona, they are your friends from Korea?” Junho asked curiously

“Yes. This is Yoona, Sooyoung. That is Yuri, Sooyoung husband and Juhyun, Yoona husband”

“Ok, hi everyone” they exchange bow

“Noona, how are you today?” Junho asked Tiffany

“I’m fine and happy. You know because I missed them so much”

“That’s good” Junho showed his mischievous smile

“Why you not answer my call this afternoon?”

“I forgot to bring my phone when I go out for lunch” Junho giggles

“You old man” Tiffany hit Junho shoulder

“Sorry noona, is there something important?”

“Not really. I just want you to buy something but never mind, unnie bought it for me when she go shopping”

“Ok, I go upstairs first. I’m tired today”

“Alright, don’t sleep late”

“Ok, good night everyone”

“Goodnight”

“Unnie, is that really your cousin?” Yoona asked

“Yes, why?”

“We’ll be mistaken him as your boyfriend” Yuri said bluntly

“Hey, of course not. We’re practically sibling. His mom is my dad younger sister”

“He looks caring” Sooyoung chuckled

“He closed to us since before. He spend most of his time at our house especially on weekend and he’s really close to unnie until now. See he sleep here even his house is nearby”

“His family doesn’t mind?”

“They don’t mind. He obey to daddy more than his own dad and he just look like my younger brother” they laughed

Jung house

Jung family has breakfast together on weekend including Krys and his wife because Mrs. Jung wanted Taeyeon to stay with them after she delivered. She don’t want her daughter-in-law stay alone because she want to make sure Taeyeon and her baby treated well. Taeyeon and Krys married after they return from States while their families learn about their marriage because they can’t against it. Taeyeon carried Krys child so it so cruel if they stop their marriage so they end up allow them together.

Krys phone ringing on the table and he answer it excitedly

“Hello, good morning…she delivered already?...thanks God…boy or girl?...aigoo, she must be happy right now…hm, hope she’s ok and can see her baby soon…ok, I’ll visit her later. Thanks noona”

“Who is that?” Taeyeon curiously asking

“Dr. Park, she’s my friend and she’s in-charge of my patient at US before. That noona delivered her child here and accidentally Dr. Park is her former doctor before she move there so we all reunite again”

“You got much fatherly aura nowadays huh” Mr. Jung teased his son

Krys chuckled while scratching his head “Yes dad, seeing my daughter everyday make the feeling of be a father getting strong”

“Crystal is lucky have you as daddy” Jesse punch his brother shoulder playfully

“Yea, she also lucky to have papa like you” they laughed happily

“Mom, can you take care of baby for us later? I want to visit noona and I bring Taeyeon along” Krys ask his mom

“Sure, no problem, besides I don’t have anything to do so you two can go out for date after visit her” Mrs. Jung said

“Thank you mom” Krys said happily and wink to his wife

“Soojungie, what is your noona name?” Taeyeon asked as they on the way to hospital

“Stephanie”

“Korean?”

“Korean American”

“I see. How long did you know her?”

“Not really long, just few months before you come with Jesse hyung. She quite friendly that why we easily close to her”

“Yea, it not easy to close to someone like you, my ice prince” Taeyeon pinch her husband cheek

“Hyung is icy than me”

“True but sometimes both of you are same. I hope our baby not inherit it”

“Aigoo, you said she’s female version of me”

“That just her look not aura”
