Jessica Jung is daughter of one of well-known businessman in their country. She still study at the college and her popularity is no joke. Lot of boys and girls confess their love to her but she ignore them. She only has a friend that loyal to her since before and her friend name is Kim Taeyeon. Taeyeon is friendly with everyone but she not close to them like Jessica.

Despite her happy life, other part of her broken after her parent asks her to marry their friend daughter who also studies at same college as Jessica. Her father threatened to disown her if she against their decision. So she unwillingly engaged to Tiffany and they will settle down after graduation. As his gratitude, Mr. Jung promise to handover the company to Jessica after she get married.

After their engagement, their parent ask Jessica and Tiffany to stay together so that they can get used to it once they get married. Jessica not agree with the idea but she can’t say anything so she just move in together to the house that Mr. Jung and Mr. Hwang give as their present. The couple rarely talks to each other and just talks when they have something important to say. They also go to college separately with their own car.

“Good morning” Jessica said as she join Tiffany at dining table

“Morning, you go out early today?” Tiffany asked

“Yeah, I have early class”

“Okay”

“You not go to college today?” Jessica ask when she saw Tiffany not get ready yet

“I will go but not early that why I not get ready early”

“Ok” Jessica eat her breakfast then she wash dishes after finish her food. After that, she leave the house

That is how their morning starts at home and when they at college, they not talking to each other except when no one is around and the topic must be really important. No one know they are engage except Taeyeon.

Jessica and Taeyeon walk at hallway after their class end. Taeyeon greet everyone while Jessica watching her expressionless.

“Hey” Taeyeon nudging Jessica side

“Yup”

“Since we end early, are you going home early today?”

“I don’t think and I don’t know yet. If I go home early, I have nothing to do”

Taeyeon chuckled “You always boring even you have beautiful housemate. If I were you I would never go out of I don’t have any important things to do outside and just stay at home with her”

Jessica rolled her eyes “It’s you, not me. We totally different”

“True and I wonder why bot of you are destiny together”

“God play with us” Jessica said lazily

“I think so” Taeyeon said

“Let’s go to lecturer office. I want to meet Mrs. Choi regarding our last assignment”

“Alright, let’s go” Taeyeon said and follow her best friend

On their way to office, they passed by Tiffany and her friends but the couple looked like don’t know each other. Few minutes later, Jessica phone ringing and she answer it

“Hello”

“Yes but I not go home yet. I have few things to do”

“….”

“Maybe I eat with Taeyeon. Don’t wait for me”

“Who is that?” Taeyeon peeking at Jessica phone

“Tiffany” Jessica whisper

“Aishhhh, forget it. Let’s go” Jessica dragging Taeyeon to the office

Jessica hangouts with Taeyeon and Krystal at the café as they always did to spend their weekend night. Krystal is Jessica younger sister and she’s Taeyeon girlfriend

“Unnie, mom and dad meet with your parent-in-law earlier” Krystal bring out the topic about Jessica and Tiffany

“Where they meet? At home?” Jessica turn her focus to her sister

“No, they meet outside. Mom invites me but I not in mood to go out” said Krystal

“They probably talk about your wedding” Taeyeon added

Jessica rubbed her nape “They so excited about the wedding. It like they are the one who will get married”

Taeyeon chuckled and pat Jessica arm “Hey, it was wedding that we talk about. Of course everyone happy”

“But not me” Jessica rolled her eyes

“What to do unnie” Krystal shrugged her shoulder

“Yeah”

“Unnie, why do you not try to call off the wedding? You know you still have time, it’s about 2 months from now” Krystal said while Taeyeon nodded in agreement

“Hmm, if I able to cancel it, I make it before. I don’t have choice. You know how dad threatened me if I not follow his order. I can’t imagine my life as stray kid”

“They so demand sometimes” Krystal sigh as she feel sorry at her sister

“Sica, are you ready for this marriage?” Taeyeon asked

“Frankly speaking, I’m not ready to marry someone I don’t love. I do try to love her but I can’t, I really can’t develop any feeling for her. She’s good person, I swear. She has looks, good at cooking, can do chores even she’s from rich family and she can manage the household well but it can’t make me fall for her. I can see her effort to be a good wife but still I can’t manage to give my heart to her”

“I know she always watching you from distance and indirectly care about you” Taeyeon said

“Poor both of you” Krystal shook her head “Whatever happen, I hope everything goes well. I know it’s hard but choose the best for both of you. If you really can’t do it, end it in good term and if you still want to try, keep it up” she caressed Jessica arm softly

“Thank you Soojung and you too Tae for always there to listen to my problems” Jessica said

“No problem, we always here for you” Taeyeon said sincerely

Krystal and Taeyeon on the way to parking lot after end with their class, suddenly Krystal remember something

“Babe, shall we talk with Tiff unnie regarding their issue?” Krystal asking for Taeyeon opinion

“I don’t know, you have anything to ask or tell her?”

“I guess I have few things. Let meet with her”

“Okay” Taeyeon said and she waits for Krystal to call Tiffany phone

“She said she will meet us after her class around 20 minutes from now. Let go find a place to meet then I will text her the address”

“Yup, let go” the couple go to Taeyeon car and Taeyeon drive them to nearby coffee shop

Around 30 minutes later, Tiffany arrive the their place

“Sorry guys, I stuck on traffic jam” Tiffany apologized

“It’s okay unnie, have a sit”

“Ok” Tiffany join both of them

“What you want to drink? I will order for you” Taeyeon said

“Ice latte”

“Okay” Taeyeon said and go to the counter

“So, why you suddenly want to meet with me? Is there something urgent?” Tiffany stare at Krystal suspiciously

Krystal shook her head “No unnie, I just want to ask few things about you and my sister. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean to meddle in your problem but let me hear from both parties” she explain

“Alright, what you want to know?” Tiffany sit comfortably and before Krystal start asking, Taeyeon return to them with Tiffany drink

“Are you ready for this marriage?”

Taeyeon and Krystal waiting for the answer nervously “To say that I’m ready for this, I don’t think I’m ready enough because everything went so fast. Besides, we barely know each other even we enrolled at same college. So as future wife, I motivate myself to ready for any challenges ahead. I know what kind of person she is ever since I stayed with her so I prepare myself mentally, physically and emotionally”

“Okay” the couple satisfied with the answer

“Do you…love her?” Taeyeon asked

Tiffany smile faintly “As I said, we barely know each other so the love in romantic way is still not yet to come. I try and still trying to develop that feeling because I know sooner or later, I have to love her that way because she will be my wife and the one I will spend the rest of my life with. I learn to do what wife suppose to do in daily life so that she comfortable with me”

“Is she having effort to do something like you did?” Krystal ask curiously

“Tiffany chuckled “I don’t know what to say. It like one sided stuff but I can’t blame her. The issue here is about feeling. We never talk about this and barely see each other at home. Even both of us at home, we rarely have long conversation”

“Aigooo, if she’s not at home, where she go?” Krystal looked at Taeyeon

“Sometime she said she meet with Taeyeon but most of the time she not telling me when she go out. There are few times also she back late and not come home at all”

“Seriously?” Taeyeon and Krystal asked in disbelief

“Yes, that was what happen in our house. I don’t know where she goes because she don’t want to tell me. I asked her before but turn out she shout at me”

“Aigoooo, this is a big problem” Taeyeon said

“Don’t tell her that I told you about this because this is like our personal problem. I keep it secret from anyone but I trust both of you to keep this. Please, I know this meeting is not arranged by Jessica, right?” Tiffany plead

Krystal hold Tiffany hand on the table to assure her that they will keep the promise “Don’t worry unnie, we won’t tell anyone and Jessica have nothing to do with this meeting. She doesn’t know about this. If you have any problem, you can share with me and Taeyeon. We’re all ears”

“True, just come to us if you need help” Taeyeon added

“Thanks guys”

“No problem”

“I have to go now. It quite late already” Tiffany said

“Okay unnie, thanks for your time”

“Alright” Tiffany bid goodbye and leave the place

After make sure Tiffany is far away from them, Krystal looking at Taeyeon with confused face “Is she really going out with you all the time?”

“Who?” Taeyeon eyes widened

“Sooyeon unnie”

“You know when I go out with her but the rest, I don’t have idea” Taeyeon said

“Did she have any friends that I don’t know?”

“As far as I know, she doesn’t have lot of friend” Taeyeon tapped her chin

“Aigooo, unnie is confusing. If she not going out with you, where else she will go? I don’t want to hear that she is cheating” Krystal said sternly

Taeyeon quickly rubbed Krystal back to calm her “Calm down, maybe she stroll around the park or town. You know the burden is quite heavy for her and she’s fragile behind her coldness. Think positive, I know she’s not that kind of person even she don’t love Tiffany”

“I hope she not doing stupid thing”

“I hope so” Taeyeon nodded her head

“I hope everything goes well for them. I can see Tiff unnie sincerity when she talks earlier and Jessie unnie is right, she’s a good person with good heart. I’m happy if they can make it after the wedding”

“Yeah, I can see too. I know she worry when Jessica not go home but she can do nothing. She have effort and hope that effort worth it”

“You’re right” Krystal said

Krystal run to her sister bedroom after she call her few times but she not answering. She worry if Jessica doing stupid things that day

“Unnie!” she barged into Jessica room

“Yup” Jessica answer lazily

“Yahh, why are you still here? Why you not get ready?” Krystal slaps Jessica shoulder

“Hmmm” Jessica pout “Can I not doing this?”

Krystal frowns “Why? Are you crazy? This is your wedding. Why you suddenly don’t want?”

“I told you I don’t want to do this” Jessica pulled her hair

Krystal took deep breath and sit beside Jessica “Me and Taeyeon advised you few months back then, if you don’t want to do this you should bring this topic to mom and dad but you said you don’t have choice. Right now no way you can surrender. Just go to your wedding, do what couple should do on their wedding and don’t make a mess. I know you can. After this day, try to learn that she is your wife. Learn to love her. I know you can do this” Krystal try her best to comfort her sister

“I’m really hopeless” Jessica rubbed her face

“No, you’re strong woman. I trust you” Krystal hugging Jessica sideways “Now gets ready then I will accompany you to go down. Lot of people arrived so you must stay cool and gorgeous. At least treat her lovingly on this day”

“Okay” Jessica said and she grabbed her wedding gown from the bed

The wedding went well and Jessica doing her best to smile and look happy in front of their guest. They receive lot of congratulations from family and friends. Everyone said they looked good together

After their wedding, both of them back to their house because Jessica resist to stay at Hwang mansion for a night

“Do you want something to eat?” Tiffany asked since the time is quite late and she worries if Jessica is hungry

“No, I not hungry” Jessica answered nonchalantly

“Ok, are you tired?”

“I guess you know the answer”

“Alright” Tiffany sigh

Jessica turn around before she speak again “Even we’re married, things between us will not change. The only things that change is status but not others so just carry on with whatever we used to do before. I don’t mind if you not doing any responsibility as a wife because I also not doing such thing. You understand, right?”

“What if our families know about this?”

Jessica shook her head and smile “No, they don’t know if we not telling them. When they around, just act like we suppose to so it will be easy”

“Hmmm” Tiffany speechless ‘Jessica with her attitude’ she thought in her mind

Tiffany and Jessica join their family company after they finish their study. Tiffany is Business Development of Hwang Corporation while Jessica is Executive Director at Jung Group. Mr. Jung.

Mr. Jung visit her daughter at her office since it’s been a while they saw each other “Hi sweetie”

“Hi dad, have a seat” Jessica said and sit on the couch across to her father

“So, how was your marriage life?” Mr. Jung sits comfortably on the couch

“Hmmm, everything are going well dad. We’re happy together” Jessica fake her smile

Mr. Jung smile widely hearing his daughter answer “Glad to hear that. We not we have choose the right person to be with you. Tiffany is a good girl and we proud to have her as our daughter-in-law”

“You’re right dad”

“So, you’re not going for honeymoon?”

Jessica silent for a while “No, we not talking about it yet”

“Aigooo, don’t think too much about work. Think about your marriage too. You’re newlywed so should go for honeymoon”

“I have lot of works to do now dad and Tiffany also same right now. No worry, we’ll find a good time to go when we’re not busy”

“Alright, be a good wife and take care of her. I and your mom trust you”

Even after their marriage, Jessica still with her habit and getting worse than before. She often goes home late and sometimes not going home for days. Tiffany called her phone but she not answering, then she called Jessica secretary and she was informed that Jessica going home after office hour end.

Tiffany really worry and she make up her mind that she will track whatever Jessica do and where Jessica stay if she not go back to their house. After office hour end, she drives to Jessica’s company and waiting for Jessica to go home. She parks her car not too far from the VIP parking so that no one will notice her. To make it safe, she changed her car. She leaved the car that she always use at their mansion and bring the other car that Jessica surely don’t know.

After 30 minutes of waiting, finally Jessica show up at main entrance and she walk leisurely to her car. When Jessica drive away from the parking, Tiffany follow behind but in safe distance. Around 20 minutes later, Jessica enter the luxury apartment complex that was owned by her company

“So you stay here” Tiffany said to no one as she slowly drive her car to the parking lot

She parked her car near the entrance and she saw Jessica enter the lobby then the security greet her politely

After make sure Jessica entered the elevator, Tiffany get out of her car and walk to the security

“Hello ma’am” the middle-age man greet her politely

“Hello, may I know which floor that Mrs. Jessica Jung stay?” Tiffany smile to them

“May we know who are you, ma’am?” the other guy ask

“I am Mrs. Tiffany Hwang, wife of Mrs. Jessica Jung” Tiffany proudly introduce herself

“Okay, Ms. Jung stayed at top floor, level 18. There is only 1 room up there and it was belong to her”

Meanwhile in her apartment, Jessica grab a can of drink after put her stuff in her study. She sit at living room while enjoying a refreshing drink after whole day working. Around few minutes later, doorbell ring. She furrowed her eyebrow because she not expecting any visitor to her place since no one know about her staying there

“Maybe security delivering stuff” she mumbles and go the door quickly

Her eyes widened when she saw her wife standing outside and she lost words “Errrrr, what are you doing here Tiff?” Jessica asked nervously

Tiffany smirk “Not invite me to come in first?”

“Oh yeah, come in” Jessica open the door wider and Tiffany come inside “Have a seat” Jessica said and both of them sit on the couch

“So you ask me what I do here, but I guess I’m the right person who supposed to ask you that question. What are you doing here Jessie? Why stay here? We have house so why you bother staying here?” Tiffany throws lot of questions to Jessica while the wife just silent

After few minutes no answer from Jessica, Tiffany speak again “I guess this house is better than our place that why you don’t want to go home” she sigh sadly “Answer me Jessica”
