The air was dark around cold as you blinked your eyes open and gazed around yourself. Your breath got stuck inside of your throat when you realized you weren’t enclosed by the safety of your tent, but by the shadows of the trees. Quickly you pushed yourself up, realizing that your hands were covered in mud and the rain was pouring down on top of you. No, you had been sleeping next to Baekhyun, he would never let this happen to you. But if that was true than why were you here? All the muscles in your body were sore and you seemed to move in slow motion when you stood onto your feet, gazing ahead of yourself. But there was nothing to be seen, it was so dark and foggy that you couldn’t see a few steps ahead of yourself and it unwillingly made your heart beat increase. “Baekhyun!” You screamed his name, hoping he would be close and he would find you. You refused to believe he had left you here to die, you would never find the way back towards the tents all by yourself. Besides, how had you gotten out of the test without him hearing anything? He must have followed you here, he would never let you walk off like that. 

Strange, you had never sleep walked before, so why start now? When you moved your feet from one spot to the other a twig broke underneath it, but the sound was so hard it filled your whole head. But apart from that you couldn’t hear anything else than silence, no one was coming to your rescue and you remained all by yourself, lost in these woods. Slowly you turned around yourself, trying to see if there was something you recognized, maybe a certain opening between the trees. But there wasn’t anything that could make it any easier for you to find your way back towards the tents. The thought that they were all sleeping peacefully while you were over here made you want to vomit. What if someone had dragged you out of the tent and had brought you here? What if someone had kidnapped you or had taken you away? A low growling sound made its way towards your ears and you froze, noticing that there was nothing human like about it. It seemed like the sound of a huge bear, who was looking for a midnight snack. 

Pure panic took master of you as you tried to think straight, knowing that bears usually didn’t exist nearing this part of the country. Sweat was making your hand palms slippy and adrenaline was rushing through you as you turned your head from left to right, trying to see where the noise was coming from, but it seemed to be everywhere. It was as if it was coming from all sides, and at a certain point you had no idea where to look anymore. It was lifted by the wind, increased by the trees, produced by the stars and it was threatening to consume you. Rapid breaths left your lips as you told yourself to calm down, that it was a part of your anxiety that was making you hear all of this. If you would only demand yourself to calm down, then eventually it would all just go away. But just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse a pair of eyes appeared in between the trees, they seemed to light up the whole open space as hey stared you down.

Their color were something you had never seen before, they had the color of your blood and they were filled with the most furious gaze you had ever seen. They looked at you as if they wanted to kill you, as if they wanted to rip you apart, and you believed they could. Whatever this creature was, if it wanted to end your life then you were sure it wouldn’t stop before it had done just that. Anxiety rushed through you as you took a step back, but the loud howl stopped you from moving. You couldn’t think of a better idea than to turn around and run, as fast as your feet could take you. But as soon as you moved the large animal jumped from behind the bushes, making a large shadow fall on top of you. The only thing you could still do before an enormous wolf jumped from between the shadows was scream, for your life. 

“_____________, wake up!” A loud gasp came over your lips as you bolted upright, feeling how two hands softly pushed you backwards so that you wouldn’t hurt yourself. Your breath came out in fast and heavy pants and you felt as if your heart had stopped beating and it was finally starting to work again. Of course it had been a dream, but it had seemed so real that you had honestly believed everything you’d seen. Baekhyun looked down on you with worried eyes, combing your hair out of your face with his careful fingers. He looked like a mess, as if he had woken up in a worry, but then again you had probably startled him with your loud scream. “It was just a dream.” He whispered and tears filled your eyes as you thought back of it. No, you didn’t want to think back about what had happened. You thought he had dumped you somewhere in those woods, that he had left you all by yourself but he would never do that, would he? He hushed you when he saw how upset you were and quickly pulled you up into a sitting position so he could cradle you against his chest. The way his strong arms held you made you feel slightly better, but you still weren’t able to shake off the terrible feeling that had taken over you, that seemed to press down on top of you. 

It made it harder for you to breath and you wondered how long it was going to take before it would crush you. Your tears went lost inside of his soft shirt and you realized you didn’t feel embarrassed because you were crying over something this childish in front
