CHAPTER 4- HUGELY PANICKING

I was panicking.

Extremely, hugely panicking.

So I was the one who stayed away this time.

After the disaster what was school yesterday, I  had found only one solution. 

Don't go to school. So I had faked a cold.

"Sumin, sweety, are you okay? Are you not feeling well, I can call school if you want?" My mom had asked, forever being the sweet person she is. I only had sighed, feeling horrible to deceive my mother. But the other side was facing Jungkook in school, right after publically rejecting him. No, calling in sick it was. "I am so sorry mom, I really don't feel well."  I had fake coughed again. "Just some flu, I think."  "I heard it was the time right now, three of my colleagues got it already. It's okay sweets, I will call school." My mom had smiled and stepped out of my room. "I will make some chicken soup for you, is that okay?" I had smiled back. "Yes mom, that would be great."

Mission accomplished.

And now my mom had called to school, making my day problem free. No Jungkook today. No long stares from everyone who could see. But most importantly, no Jungkook. I felt giddly, and concluded that it was because of my own personal victory. I was free for today.

However, only after two hours calling in sick, my mom got to me again, our home phone with her. "Sumin, a boy is asking for you- Jungkook I think, asking if you are sick today? Did you had an appointment with him?" I stiffened.

Are you kidding me?

I only wildy signed to her not to give the phone. Luckily my mom understood, taking the call back. 

"Jungkook? Yes, she is sleeping right now- is it important? O- well I could- No i'ts okay- you really are sweet- goodbye!" She sighed, looking at me with a judging look.

"He really sounded nice, you are not avoiding him are you?" Mom, why do you have to be so smart?
