Youngjae sighed, feeling more lonely then ever.

Yugyeom had hooked arms with JB and Jinyoung for their affection, which they gladly gave, doting on him as usual (Not that Jinyoung would ever admit to it, but they all knew he did cherish the maknae as much as he was savage to him. Same for JB.)

Bambam was conversing with the foreign line broken english too, leaving him all alone in this big; lonely world.

Shoving the earbuds deeper into his ears, he upped the volume of his music to drown out their conversations. 

He didn't want to join in, where he would just feel unwelcome. And he didn't know how to fit in either. The hyungs didn't even have the inituative to engage him first, since they seemed pretty occupied with the other two maknaes.

"Would they even notice me, if I was gone?" He wondered, eying Yugyeom in jealousy.

A small voice inside him said "Yes, of course they will." but as he watched the foreign trio laugh at a stupid imitation Jackson did, he couldn't help but disbelieve.

So he put it to the test.

Grabbing his baseball cap, he slowly slipped out of the practice room. 

He didn't bother to say a word before leaving, hoping that it would make things more suspicious. 

Maybe then would they notice his existance.

He put on his mask, tapping his card to exit the company building.

He walked briskly, just in case they caught up. He still had hope that they would come after him. They would, right? They had to, didn't they? 

He looked back, but saw no one. 

What had he expected?

After stopping to check over and over again, he soon gave up hope, slumping against the wall of his favourite alley. He curled up, deep into his thoughts.

Maybe they really didn't care.

They most probably didn't care.

They really didn't care.

They don't care.

They never did.

Youngjae repeated those words over and over until his breath hitched, sobs threatening to escape. His throat felt as if it was closing up, he felt as though the air was taken from his lungs. 

He couldn't help but cry outloud, not caring if it drew attention.

If s didn't care for him, what more a random stranger?
