The incessant ringing of the doorbell snapped Tiffany out of deep slumber. One more ring and she swore she's gonna choke whoever was behind that damn door to death, but funny enough, the ringing stopped as if the person had heard it. After a few seconds of staring at the ceiling, Tiffany finally got out of bed and forced herself to get the door.

"Happy halfniversary!" Taeyeon cheerily greeted her as soon as the door was opened.

"What the hell...?" Tiffany frowned at her best friend slash girlfriend. The girl was unforgivably too early today, wearing an annoyingly cute look on her damn pretty face.

"Happy halfniversay!" Taeyeon repeated with much enthusiasm.

"What?"

"Happy halfniversary! You know, half anniversary? Happy 6th month of being together?" 

The creases on Tiffany's forehead slowly smoothened out as she let Taeyeon's words sink in. 

"Oh. Am I too early?" Taeyeon took a tiny step backward and observed Tiffany's disheveled look.

"Yes, you are." Tiffany's unusually cold tone made her girlfriend took another step back.

"Oh." The light in Taeyeon's eyes slowly disappeared, an annoyingly cute guilty face replaced the smile on her face.

"I planned to sleep the entire morning." 

"I'm sorry."

"You're so annoying." Tiffany almost bursted out laughing at Taeyeon's terrified look.

"I'm... I'll leave if you want..." Taeyeon said in a tiny voice as she looked down.

"Annoyingly cute." Tiffany chuckled as she lifted the girl's face. "You're cuddling me back to sleep." She laced their fingers together while dragging Taeyeon inside the apartment, and into her room. 

"I love cuddles." The guilty look on Taeyeon's face faded in an instant. 

"Yes, you do. You cute little puppy." Tiffany mirrored the warm smile Taeyeon was giving her as they lied in bed. 

"But I love you more." Taeyeon scooted closer, securing her arm around Tiffany's waist. The twinkle in her eyes, curl on her lips, and gentleness in her voice, everything just screamed unconditional love. Tiffany never felt so blessed as she said those words back with a sweet smile gracing her face.

A/N: So I woke up feeling unwell in the middle of the night and took some meds. A few minutes later, this happy halfniversay line just had to keep on knocking in my stupid head so yeah, here you go. Oh, who would've thought I could still write. I actually gave up writing a few months ago but here we are... HAHAHAHA anyway!! Happy holidays everyone! Wow still can't believe 2017 is almost over. O_o Too many plot twists in my life this year and I think I'm good. No more please, @ universe. XD
